Awful Experience--Never AgainPosted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: Absolutely nothing!!!!
Cons: Absolutely everything!!!
Location: Location was not bad; found easily. We were on a business trip--not recreation.
The entire facility smelled. Going into the room, just outside by the door near the ceiling, there was a box fan in a hole in the wall with its electrical cord strung across the wall and ceiling and looks as if it plugged into a junction box near the "Exit" sign in the hall. The "nice view" in the morning consisted of looking out through this fan. This was open to the outside as far as we could tell. The room smelled of a mixture of curry powder, moth balls, and cat urine. The floors in the stairwell were nasty. The entire facility's overall atmosphere was smelly, dirty, and unsafe. It didn't help that we were apparently the only two women in the entire facility for our stay, but we know that's not the hotel's fault. Would never go there again. Felt "icky" to even try to get a cup of coffee at the breakfast.

Not so great front desk but nice room!Posted May 13, 2015 on Hotels
Overall the hotel was not bad. I was badgered at the front desk for the room being booked under my husband's name when I tried to check in. I have never had an issue checking in at any other hotel before. We have both checked in under each others names. I even have my military ID with his name on it and our credit cards have the same exact number (the one we used to book and prepay the room with). The manager let me check in thankfully. The room itself was pleasant. Fairly well kept and clean. The only issue was the door didn't seem very secure, we had to give it an extra push to close it all the way and the wind kept opening and closing it a little. Scared my kids a few times. Other than that we liked the hotel and would stay there again. Great location. It definitely beats a few others for the same price range. Enid has a horrible selection of hotels and the prices are not fitting. We think this was probably the best hotel for our money.

ALL WAS OK, EXCEPT FOR THE HEATER WAS NOISY. EVERYTIME IT CAME ON DURING THE NIGHT IT AWAKENED MY GRANDDAUGHTER AND I. WE WERE IN ROOM 101, DIDN'T LIKE THE LOCATION, IT WAS DOWN HALLWAY AND ROOM HAD NO WINDOWS? NEXT TIME SHOULD I STAY THERE I'LL ASK FOR ROOM WITH WINDOWS.

Bonus Underwear!Posted Mar 17, 2015 on Hotels
There was a dirty pair of underwear in the dresser drawer, obviously left over from previous guests. When we asked for an extra blanket, the counter person asked like we were asking for her first born, and had to"think about it".

We love staying at the Super 8. It has the best free breakfast available. The waffles are always a hit!
