At check in the man never got off his personal cell phone. At all. He continued his personal conversation in his native tongue and was laughing. He had quite a few English words thrown in there so you could follow the conversation to some degree which is how I could determine it was a personal phone call. Regardless, as a customer one customer should never be ignored while serving them. Literally the ONLY things he said to me was when he whispered ‘Are you checking in?’ At the start of the process. He did this while he held the phone to his ear and the other person was talking. Having checked into hotels before I knew the procedure so knew when to hand him my license and then my cc. Near the end he said please sign here. That’s it. Very, very rude, Very, very impersonal. Very, very disrespectful. Very, very unprofessional.
