The staff is AMAZING!! Super helpful and they are all nice!! Rooms are clean and the property is beautiful! The golf course by the sea is breathtaking! The restaurant is nice! They have a large variety and fresh pizza. The drinks are good too. The only thing I would add is an expresso machine! But this is just an observation of course. I would not think twice to spend another weekend over there! Amazing !

People either go to this "resort" to golf, or see the ocean. If you're not there to golf, and hope to see the ocean, the staff seemed like their trained to dissuade you. The property is very large, so I offered to pay full price for a game of golf just to get a golf cart to take my spouse and 3 year old near the ocean. That's not allowed there, and no one is allowed to walk close to the golf course. So you either need to walk a couple of miles to see the water, or get in your car and drive (to whatever beach you want). They also have no play pens or cribs for babies and toddlers.

Hello Aaron, we apologize about your unsatisfactory experience with us. We try to be clear about the fact that this is not a ocean view hotel or a hotel with beach, we offered this resort as an Ocean Front Golf Resort because the golf courses are the ones in front of the ocean. Apparently we are not being that clear, thank you for letting us notice that and we will continue working to avoid another customers to expect something that we cannot offer. We are going to let know management about the play pens, I am pretty sure would be pleasant for toddlers parents, and if you decide to visit us again, you can call reception asking for babies cribs, we do have those!

Property is a little older. I still enjoy the Baja Mar area. Love the old Western décor and the rustic appeal. I've been coming for years to the area. I feel very safe on this property. Great for the family.

Quick weekend getaway
Quick weekend getaway from San Diego. For the price the resort is a good value. Older rooms but clean. Staff was super friendly, close to downtown Ensenada and a 45 minute trip to Valle de Guadalupe. We will definitely come back!

Love the Hacienda, but needs more cleaning inside the hotels. Maybe because is very hacienda looking but there were spiders and spider webs in the rooms and halls. Wish they had fire pits to sit outside the hacienda and relax/chill with friends. Water from the shower was salty. Needs some TLC.

Amazing room, average at best food and horrible golf conditions. The fairways are awful but the rustic feel of the hacienda and the size of the room make it worth the stay at $120.
