The remodeled rooms are wonderful. Bring earplugs for the drunken guest noise that starts after the bars close, but you get that everywhere in Ensenada.

There’s some remodeling and construction going on in the hotel and around the area but don’t let that fool you. The staff at the front desk was friendly, courteous and welcoming. Checking in was fast, the property is clean and the service at both, the bar/restaurant and casino was excellent. The hotel is less than a 5 min drive from the Malecón and dining areas. Parking is included and they have 24 hour security patrolling the lot. We opted to extend our stay and the front desk clerk was very accommodating and helped us process our request in no time. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Property was okay, carpet throughout was really dirty. The toilet seat in my room was broken. The shower had mildew in the corners. The shampoo and conditioner pump in the shower did not work. The surrounding area was really unsafe looking next to a casino with sketchy people. Definitely would not go or visit without my husband.

Our stay here was fantastic, best part of everything was the hot tubs and the beds!!!! Incredibly comfy, the pillows are to die for. Our plan was to relax and we accomplished that while staying there. Everything you need close by or at the hotel for a little getaway, family friendly. Staff was super courteous and most of them speak English. We felt very welcomed.

Clean nicely decorated rooms safe place to stay all visitors are given a wristband to wear, parking is across the street but has 24 hr guard, nice big pool area, great food affordable prices the only bad thing is you can hear your neighbors TV

This would be our 6th or 7th time that we have stayed here. We love the view of the pool area from our room. Always have a relaxing time and the staff is very nice and helpful. We highly recommend this place.

The room is very up to date enough space, the balcony has a view to the pool which is nice. The property is nice, clean, seemed to have had many updates, some updates to the passageways would be nice as well. Parking is on a parking lot across the hotel, if you have lots of luggage consider taking everything down before parking. But overall the room was very nice i would recommend this hotel.

Every time we go to Ensenada, we love staying at San Nicolas. It’s clean, rooms are beautiful, staff are super friendly. I mean all the staff. From the front desk agent to the housekeeper and guards. Would definitely recommend it to family and friends. It has a huge parking lot across the street with a guard 24/7.

Great place, staff is super friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, I liked that walls are concrete so it eliminates a lot of outside noise. If you get a room next to the casino, avoid it and request another one. I stayed there for 3 nights, first night i got 3rd floor next to casino and got all of the industrial AC noise, could not sleep that night. I had asked the receptionist for another room that night and said they were full. I highly doubt it. Next morning after not sleeping, I asked for another room cause i was going to stay there two more nights, told me same thing, they were full! So I asked to cancel my next two nights. A minute late they accommodated me on the 2nd floor facing fool and it was super quiet. Slept nice and peaceful next two nights. But I had to threaten them to cancel to get me a better room.
