Lovely hotel in great location, poor breakfast
Lovely hotel in beautiful location. Rooms very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was disappointing though, as they charge extra for typical continental breakfast items like meat, cheese and eggs. As a result the breakfast including in the room was just a few pastries and cereal, all very sweet. This is not the typical experience of a Relais au Chateaux 5 star hotel!

Property is gorgeous - the vineyards, vistas, gardens and terraces. Inside the décoré is beautiful - an interesting mix of traditional and Eclectic, with many comfortable, and cost areas to relax and unwind. Food, as expected if a R & C hotel, is exceptional.

Overall great hotel, but disappointed too
Overall a great stay, but was disappointed in a couple things. I was blown away with the decor (both interior and exterior) of this hotel. It was such a beautiful hotel with the restaurants overlooking Lake d’Iseo. The rooms were also very spacious. And there is plenty to do at the hotel given its focus on wellness (eg self guided walks around the property/vineyards, pools, gyms, spas, shopping). However, there are a couple things that could be improved. First, the bathroom could be renovated. It was a very old bathroom, and while clean looked somewhat dingy. Second, they charge for breakfast, which is fine, but having travelled across Italy for a month, every hotel we stayed at offered free breakfast. This seems out of the norm, and more notably, there was nothing fancy about the breakfast - just your usual eggs and pastries. That being said, aside from the bathroom and breakfast, the hotel was great.

Hotel itself is lovely, note the standard room we had had no bath only a small corner shower. Breakfast was ok but other food we had was awful. Room service 1st night was OK but portion size was tiny. Bar menu following evening - undercooked burger - poorly presented. Biggest issue was head injury sustained in shower, gashed head on ‘unprotected metal shower door handle - 5 days on still getting headaches. Protracted discussions with reception staff lead to them contacting the General Manager by e-mail only - apparently he or she won’t talk to people. Eventually left with bill in dispute being told GM would ring me - still waiting

Beautiful relaxing hotel in Franciacorta. Spa and grounds were lovely. there is no food or service around the grounds which feels like a missed opportunity. restaurant for breakfast and lunch is buffet only. pizza restaurant is great. very relaxing

Italian boutique hotel you never want to leave!
Stunning property, gorgeous room with great amenity, 3 fabulous restaurants to choose from and incredibly nice and helpful staff made this hotel a highlight of our month long travels. We ended our travels here and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Highly recommend this beautiful Relais&Chateau boutique hotel.

Wonderful luxurious hotel
We had a fantastic time at this luxury hotel. The setting was perfect amidst fruit laden vineyards. The rooms were very well appointed and the staff were very attentive. I can't really fault this hotel. Our stay was only too short ! Will definitely return.

L'Albereta extrordinary relaxation and pampering
You can't afford not to stay at this beautiful hotel. The staff and service was extraordinary, we were cared for beautifully. We loved the sublime view overlooking trees and Lake Iseo from the patio. Our few days were so relaxing and we felt so pampered.

Classy hotel with luxurious rooms
Went there for a couple of nights to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary and was not disappointed. Very friendly and efficient staff for whom English speaking was not the slightest problem. We had a deluxe room which was very spacious and very well decorated and furnished with a private seating area outside French windows. We also had fine dining the night of the anniversary and the food was to die for. This place is not cheap, including the dining and wines, but I feel it was worth every penny. The only disappointment was the breakfast which was not very substantial nor provided much choice. We will definitely return one day. Alex and Iris (North Wales)

Wunderbares Haus, etwas zurückgezogen in den Weinhängen der Franciacorta. Schöne Poolanlage und vorzügliches Restaurant. Tolle Sicht auf den Iseosee. Frühstück gut aber für den Preis etwas mager.
