Quiet locationPosted Jun 24, 2016
Ideal place to stay to explore Pompeii, Herculaneum and Vesuvius. Beautiful property a little off the beaten track. Stunning setting, beautiful gardens and a fantastic sun terrace overlooking Naples. Lovely breakfast of croissants, cake, Yoghurt, boiled eggs etc. Would be a great place for a group to stay.

Great getawayPosted Jul 6, 2015 on Hotels
Great little getaway of a hotel up on the foothills of Vesouvis. Amazing views of Naples down below. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Great escape from city life. Overall a very relaxing atmosphere.

Everyone was super helpful. The room very clean and the bed was comfortable. The AC worked fine. A lovely breakfast was served. I highly recommend this B&B and would certainly like to return

Fine, clean, nice viewsPosted May 26, 2015 on Hotels
Stayed here as a base to explore Herculaneum. Clean hotel, lovely views, reasonable breakfast. You will need a car to stay here - the hotel itself is in a quiet location a few kms from a town but the surrounding towns are not that great. Owner allowed us to park in secure parking on driveway. Was good for what we needed it for, i.e. a stop off on the way back to the hotel.

Lovely setting, Beautiful views.Posted Sep 23, 2014
Stayed here for 3 nights. Very quick to access from the airport. Great for visiting pompeii, Herculaneum and Vesuvius. We had a large and nicely furnished room at the top of the hotel site up quite a lot of steps but a great view once there. Air conditioning unit in the en suite bathroom. Lovely gardens. Croissant and cake with coffee for breakfast. Able to park the car on the road outside the property although a little space also on the property drive as well.

B&B with no hospitalityPosted Aug 9, 2014 on Hotels
Location with view on the bay of Napoli was excellent, the outside spaces and curb appeal was outstanding. The "Family room" for 4 was a corridor barely fitting a queen bed and two chairs converting into short single beds, facing cabinets with no shelves or hangers. The private bathroom featured a derelict shower, a sink and a toilet bowl with an overhead flush bowl that sprayed water all over your face and the bare lightbulb! The bar down the street had live music blaring past 2am with windows that failed to dampen the noise. Good thing was the AC unit that was quiet and effective, which allowed us to sleep on the creaky springs of the bed until early morning. Breakfast was scarse with a few bits of cake, cheap boxed juice, yogurt and a very limited amount of coffee and a defrosted empty corneto. The good thing was booking a single night instead of the three initially considered.

Amazing location,Amazing people,Amazing experiencePosted May 19, 2013 on Hotels
Reasonably easy to find, amazing environment, and great location for excursions - we went to Pompeii, Sorrento and back to Le Fumarole with take out pizza and wine we picked up for dinner on our way home that we enjoyed sitting at a table looking out over the bay of Naples - unbelievable. They have truly created an environment where you feel at home and not only have your room but a selection of comfee areas to sit and enjoy. Madonna was kind enough to make arrangements for a tour of Pompeii and provide us with a great recommendation for a restaurant for dinner. The room was cute, clean, and fully equipped with everything you need - unlike many other accommodations in Italy. The staff are welcoming and friendly - truly a treat and we felt lucky to have stayed there. And Madonna - yes - your breakfasts were amazing.
Ideal place on the Vesuvius WayPosted Jun 6, 2012 on Hotels
Great people, beautiful facility, magnificent view - ideal! Please note that the best way to find it is to climb the Vesuvius Way - around 40% of the way op, with the best view of Napoli and the Bay.
