Ok hotel close to shopping.

Pros: Close to shopping, room cleanliness, good breakfast.
Cons: Sliding doors to the lobby, mop the elevator floors regularly, get rid of the smell between the 2 front doors.
Location: Close to all the shopping. That's what we were there to do.
Got to hotel a bit early. Room not ready yet. Did some shopping and returned. Not impressed that there were no sliding doors into hotel. Everyone has suitcases and there are 2 doors that must be opened by hand. The smell between the 2 doors was terrible. Very strong odour of something they used (perfumey) to mask another odour we're guessing. Hold your breath. Room was nice and clean. Bed quite soft but comfortable. Bathroom had a blow dryer and soap/lotion/shampoo. Close to all the shopping. Unfortunately people like to take breakfast back to their rooms. On the day we left, there was syrup on the elevator floor and I ran my suitcase wheels through it before I noticed. Breakfast area was busy but we always found a table. Good selection of breakfast items and well stocked. Partiers on Friday night woke us up. Overall our stay was just ok.

Quiet hotel nearby several restaurants and shopping. Good location.

Not What I Expected

Checked in @3PM and the room was not ready. She decided to put us in a ground floor room # 111, right across from the pool. The room was old looking and very dirty. The bed skirts had dirty spots allover. Looks very disgusting. The beds were just awful. Sleeping in a hammock would have been better. As soon as I saw that I called and booked another hotel for the second night of my stay. Hotels.com were actually nice to give me a refund for the second night.

We got checked in a little early. PM staff on 10/08 were great, Julia (I think that was her name) was very pleasant, offering suggestions on where to go out for a nice Italian dinner. We would stay there again.

Not the best Fairfield I've stayed in....

Not great for a Fairfield. Lobby was dirty, windows and glass door especially. I know this is common, but this place was a pretty far cry from how it was portrayed in the photos. Room a little smelly.

Great hotel, clean and friendly.

Location: Close to Millcreek Mall, many restaurants, casino, and Lake Erie.
Hotel rooms are clean, wonderful, comfy beds, and nice pool.

Disappointed

The website indicated that there was a microwave and a refrigerator in the room and there wasn't. The hotel was older and could use a revamping. The pool was smaller than it appeared in the picture but was clean. We stayed with family members and one found blood stains on the bottom of her comforter it was gross. When we told the girl at the front desk she was very sympathetic and said she was going to give us all discounts on our rooms but since we had already paid for the room on hotels.com I don't know if we will ever really see that discount. The staff was friendly and the location was great it was right across from the mall and a 10-15min.drive to the beach.wish I had better things to say about the hotel we usually have good experiences when staying at a Fairfield Inn that's part of the reason we booked with them but we were very disappointed in this particular one.

We checked in and the floors were dirty when we arrived. The elevators were old and rickety. The room appeared ok but then we saw blood on the comforter and the overall feeling was old. Needs a facelift, and needs the fridge it claims to have on the website.
