Nice Place

Cons: Prices on food and drinks
Location: Good location and lots of things to do...
We enjoyed our stay there (food and drinks are over priced..) For Erie PA.. Had a great dinner down the street for half the cost it would have been a the hotel...Would stay there again but won't eat there again. They say there food is rated #1 I would have to question that.....Its good but not great...

Nice view of the Bay, best hotel in Erie.

Pros: It's clean.
Location: Only 5 miles from everything.
Always nice to stay here, great view. Lighthouse close by, nice pool.

I wish I could have stayed longer to get a chance to see all that the hotel has to offer! It was a very nice establishment. The staff was friendly and courteous and our family had a great time there.

Location: Sight seeing tours on the water
Fantastic view. Very nice clean room and bath. Fantastic bed, loved watching the boats from my room

Room was a tight fit for a family of four

We upgraded to a bay view room on the 7th floor (SPG Preferred Guest floor) for an extra $20. The room had two queen beds and a large desk in front of the window. At this room price we expected a larger rooom. The windows were in need of a cleaning on the outside. There were spider webs, bird droppings and bug smears which distracted us from our view. We had a rollaway cot brought up so our two kids had their own beds. The width of the room needed to be at least three feet wider to make it more functional. Luggage cart barely fit through the door and entryway. The length of the room could also have been longer. The bathroom had French doors that were narrow and difficult to pass through unless both doors were open. They also had frosted glass inserts that let light into the room at night/early morning. This brightens the room for you family while sleeping. The bath vent is well undersized. We had to use air fresheners. Humidity from showering fills the room. The hotel restaurant was pricey but we expected it given this was a higher quality hotel. The food was excellent! Otherwise, the hotel and staff were super!

Loved this hotel

My husband, son and I needed to get away for a few days. My 18 year old son had passed away from cancer in Oct 2015. We chose Erie and this hotel. When we got in the room, the view was not what we booked. Went down to the front desk and they immediately moved us to a room with a beautiful lake view. We loved it so much we extended our stay by 2 more days. I will have to start saving so we can go back. Have to get a lake view room and they are not cheap. The water was so calming and we enjoyed it so much despite missing our son so very much.

The food was excellent it was nice to have Starbucks coffee in my room and downstairs in the lobby. The parking garage was really nice didn't have to park on the street. The few days it rained I didn't get wet because of the covered awning going around the walking area in front of the building. They had a policeman on duty in the lobby when I arrived because of a large wedding being held but never ever heard them.

Nice room. Staff friendly toilet broken but my husband fixed it a little pricey to have a broken toilet

Cons: larger shower
It is a nice place overall and I expected exceptional which really it is just nice. The location is great, but the room is average. The shower is extremely narrow and the shower head sprayed out the connection. This was reported to them. I also expected the room to have a fridge and was disappointed that it didn't. I didn't check the website and just assumed that it would, so that is on me. The restaurant in the hotel was nice and the food is great. I was upset with the waitress that only talked to me after another patron sitting right next to me pointed it out to the staff. And she appeared mad at me for it.
