Close to shopping and restaurants

Pros: Breakfast and the beds were comfortable
Cons: Bathrooms are old.
Location: Shopping, restaurants. Lake is only 15 mins away.
Second time we stayed here and we would come back. Clean and comfortable. Needs some updating, but overall a nice hotel.

Mixed up management - no customer satisfaction.

Cons: Management: Need customer service at the front of their priority list.
Location: Shopping, Presque Isle, etc.......
We booked earlier in the day to make sure we had a room. My sister who also needed a room walked in and was told they have no rooms. She came back out to the parking lot and I told her to check Expedia, they had availability and she booked her room. When we try to sign in, the management tells me that our booking was moved to one of their sister properties about a half a mile away and that they were fully booked. He blames this on Expedia and there is nothing that they can do. My sister's room was available that she just booked 5 minutes earlier. They assure us that the Marriot "Towne something" was an equal property. I fight this for a while because I have never been moved when booking on Expedia. Finally my sister asks them to just move her room over to the other "equivalent" hotel also. Rooms were way smaller than what we booked. Studios versus suites. My wife always books no pets hotels and this one has at least 3 dogs that we have seen on our way up to the room. Price on the rooms was $117 versus our original $124, but I have not been given notice that Expedia is giving us money back for taking the move to another Marriot property. After we are in our room, I jump back on Expedia and there are still rooms available to book!!! Maybe these guys do not understand that some of their availability has already been claimed by Expedia. I could have cancelled and rebooked right there in front of them and stayed with our original booking. Poor mgmt.

Nice hotel close to Presque isle

Only stayed one night, the king sized bed should have been replaced a long time ago, it was warn out and sagging, if I was going to stay another night I would've had to go in another room with a decent bed. I'm surprised Marriott would not upgrade their worn out beds .

Cons: We requested a room with double beds but we did not get that. That's the only improvement I could say
Hotel was nice, staff was nice. Close to a lot of things

great location

We stayed here for an overnight to the beach. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. It's a great location, near the beach and the thruway. I wish it was a little closer to the beach but it was just a quick ride to the entrance to the park.

Family friendly, staff was very nice. So nice to see families playing board games in the lobby. Great breakfast something for everybody.
