Nice, cheap hotel one exit from Splash Lagoon!

Great location! There are tons of restaurants and Splash Lagoon one exit away. There is a Tim Hortons and I believe a taco bell right outside of the hotel. The beds are comfy and the room was clean. Great place for the price. Check in was quick and easy. Staff was friendly. Would absolutely stay here again if we visit Splash Lagoon again in the future!

Hotel stay

It was a nice stay wish the beds were bigger other than that it was a nice place to stay close to our destination

Poor maintenance inside and out!

Pros: The night clerk
Cons: cleanliness and care of the grounds. Aside from the rooms being dirty there were empty condom packages in the parking lot on top of the snow.
Location: Decent location to highway and restaurants.
We arrived fairly late in the evening after being stuck for 3 hrs in a multi-vehicle car crash in Buffalo. Drive into the hotel was covered with several inches of packed snow and slushy ruts even though the storm had passed a week earlier. Most of the parking spaces were merely cleared only where vehicles had been during the storm of the prior week. The attendant was nice, but after making reservations in what we thought was a "pet friendly" hotel, we were told that only service dogs were permitted. After 12 hours of tiring stormy driving, we decided to simply lie and say our pet was a service dog. In the room there were thick piles of grit in the corners of the bath room and what looked like brown and blue circles of dirt/cleaning fluid in the tub. We did not use the shower at all. Won't be back.

With getting 5-6 feet of snow in less than a few days it was very tough for the the plow companies, even the city plows, to keep up with all the volume. Welcoming

Pros: the location, and the price
Cons: a little updating
Thanks for the warm and welcoming stay at your hotel. It was clean, the staff was very accommodating. We were traveling from Ohio and "JC" was keeping us updated with the weather and road conditions. The hotel was clean but needed a little updating. This hotel had what mattered to a guest. A warm and welcoming staff, clean rooms, breakfast, and was close to a lot of activities that guests would want. Thanks

Decent place to stay close to the Casino

Well I reserved a King size bed smoking room and Yes We got a smoking Room but was a double bed which we did not sleep in very well and when I asked the girl working the front desk about this her She replied " We ran out of rooms with King Sized Beds" Umm then why did they still have them advertised online as available??? and charge me for a a king sized bed? Other than that .. The room was clean and the shuttle service they offer to and from the casino was great. We have stayed at the place a few times now and probably will again.

We are currently in the process of upgrading our rooms, which i believe is where the problem begin. We currently only have 4 King smoking rooms available due to repainting and remodeling. At the time i do not believe Expedia was aware of this. The issue has since been taken care of. I again apologize for the inconvenience, please let us know if there is anything we can do for you. Good location to shopping

The staff was very helpful they went out of there way to help you and the location was great but my room needed some work there was mold on the bathroom walls but for the price it was ok

Clean

The room was nice and clean and the staff were very friendly. The only negative was that through WIFI didn't work.

Room was OK. Staff were OK BUT..

There was hot water in the morning. We called the front desk and complained and were told that a lot of people probably took showers earlier and they ran out of hot water. Does that make sense?

ice cold shower

I went to take a shower. The water was hot for only 3 seconds then it was ice cold. I told them at the desk when I checked out. The said they could not do anything about it because I booked through expedia. They recommended I call expedia and see if they would do something about my bad experience.

Unfortunately, with third party reservations, we are unable to discount the guest directly. When using a third party service, you pay them; they then pay us. So, If we were to discount at check out, the hotel would be refunding expedia back its money, not the guest theirs.
