Excellent location, in the heart of Budapest

Posted Oct 25, 2017
I got the first room changes as it wasn’t great (small room, soft matttress, a smell of burnt toast and noisy ventilation). The second one was perfect! Staff were nice and accommodating.

Good Budget Hotel

Posted Oct 24, 2017
Pros: Helpful staff with great recommendations
Cons: no everything was fine
Location: Hotel in the Jewish quarter, very close to the Jewish memorial. 2 minute walk to the metro and bus stops. Lots of restaurants a few minutes away.
Great budget hotel, staff were very helpful, recommended great restaurants to eat for that truely local feel. Clean and tidy rooms, nothing special but very comfortable. Breakfast was really good, plenty of variety. Highly recommend.

Not 4 stars hotel ! Maybe 2 .

Posted Oct 14, 2017
Locarion is good but hotel over all is not 4 stars. Friendly helpful staff but facilities is poor, lobby is very small, room very small and bed very uncomfortable and sheets are old and dirty, bathroom is tiny and shower is small standup one person fit. Breakfast was ok. For $145 you can get better hotel anywhere in the world.

Nice hotel with excellent location

The hotel is very comfortable and has an excellent buffet breakfast. It is also just s block away from the metro and a grocery store. The rooms aren't large but are very well appointed.

Great hotel

Posted Sep 9, 2017
Pros: There really wasn't anything NOT to like!
Cons: The only little thing would be the lighting in the lobby/reception. Yes, that's a bit picky but that's all I could think of!
Location: Easy walking to many places of interest incl. Basilica, funicular to Prague castle, Fisherman's Bastion etc.
Lovely hotel, very friendly staff. Rooms ideal and well appointed, loved the idea of a travel buddy - free. You'll have to stay there to find out more! Breakfasts - stunning!! Great location & easily walkable to the main shops, eateries and Gerbeauds'. If you do nothing else you have to go there! Fab cakes, sundaes & more besides. The hotel check in was easy, the staff explained everything and the information pack provided was great if you hadn't done your own research on where to go & what to do. Should my aunt and I return to Budapest, we would NOT HESITATE to stay there again!!

Great Location

Posted Sep 7, 2017
Pros: Location and excellent breakfasts
Cons: Couple of pictures in our room. It felt a bit empty and stark with grey walls.
Location: Walk to all the main attractions. Ezez restaurant opposite the Basilica is an excellent choice for dinner.
Hotel is in an excellent location and just a walk to all the main sights. Bus transfer from the airport is just round the corner so 5 minute walk to the hotel. Breakfast was amazing with wonderful choice of hot, cold buffet. Ample fruit and also wonder little cakes and croissants which were freshly baked. If you fancy a glass of prosecco to start your day - you can just help yourself. Our room was on the first floor 102 nd although quite close to the road you couldn't hear anything... wonderful soundproofing. The only little thing I would suggest is a couple of pictures in the room as it seemed quite stark. Would definitely book at this hotel when returning to Budapest in the near future.

Central Budapest

Nice cental location, main central streets for shopping & restaurants 5-10 mins walk. Good service & breakfast at hotel. We had a room on first floor facing inner square so we got no real sun light in room but otherwise OK.

well-positioned to explore the centre of town

Posted Jul 10, 2017
Pros: Elegant, modern finish. Helpful staff. Bathroom contained a bath. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room
Cons: Change the sheets more frequently
Location: Walking distance (10 mins) from Elizabeth Bridge, Vaci Ucta, the Budapest eye and numerous restaurants and bars.
Hotel couldn't have been better placed for us to explore the city on foot. Plenty to choose from at breakfast with friendly staff. Room was quiet and nicely finished with modern décor. The bathroom included a bath - a real plus for me when most hotel bathrooms now only contain a shower. My only negative is that I would have expected our sheets to have been changed at least once during a 3 night stay - especially during the warmer months.
