I had a very pleasant stay at the Stanley Hotel. I stayed for one night with my mother for her birthday. I thought the grounds outside the hotel were very beautiful and I loved the old, creepy feel of the hotel. I did feel that a lot of the staff whom I encountered weren't very friendly, though. ...
I usually enjoy staying here, however, when weddings are being held hotel guests needs become secondary to the wedding guests needs, meaning you can't get a meal until after the wedding dinner is over. We were told we had to wait until 7:30 pm and eat in the bar. This was at 5:00 pm. Needless to ...
For an older hotel it was quite well kept we had a little trouble with the room being stuffy at night but opening a window and turning on a fan took care of the problem
next time I will get the top floor middle floors are very noisy nice location wildlife abundant price is about what I expected staff bent over backwards for all minor issues. many upgrades could be made however room was clean and hotel seemed well managed. yes we will stay again
This cottage far exceeded our expectations. The entire place was clean, the owners are very friendly, and it's in a convenient location being within walking distance to town. We felt like we were in a home. If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay, this is it!
If you are looking for a woodsy '50's cabin feel, this is it. Just be prepared for no air conditioning, and air not too good for allergies. Also the bed was very firm, causing problems for our old bodies. If you are ok with these little details, you will enjoy your stay.
Hotel could use some maintenance, however the room was clean spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Don't go by appearances. List a hot tub but not maintained or useful. They have a pool again not maintained or was not filled. This place has a lot of potential if who ever owned it cared ...
Loved the Maxwell Inn! The owners are very friendly and have done a very nice job of renovating this inn. Nice patio. Simple but perfect breakfast before hitting RMNP or shopping in Estes Park downtown which is just a couple blocks away. We would definitely stay here again.
For the price, the room was pleasant with nice looking furniture and adequate appliances. There were minor inconveniences like the bathroom having a used washcloth on the floor, flat pillows, the bed not having fitted sheets, and the hallway having an odd smell. Breakfast was typical with fruit, ...
Hotel had comfortable beds and small refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast provided was reasonable with a choices of cereal, waffles, yogurt, hot burritos. Did not use indoor pool. Appenzell is close to middle oF Estes Park and 8 to 10 miles from RMNP entrance, which was my main reason for staying ...
The only reason I selected this motel is that it didn’t require a two night minimum and it was absolutely no smoking or pets. (Included pot with the no smoking rule👍)
The cabin was good sized and in a great location. The staff were very sweet and helpful. They were booked solid and someone used the Cabin just prior to us and we discovered that the dishes/utensils had been put away dirty! That was the only downside. Once we washed all the dishes and cutlery- it ...
I am pleased in every aspect about this hotel. I forgot that check in ends at 6pm and was still in Denver at that time, so they gave me a courtesy call to let me know that they'll have the key ready for me when I arrive late and that it wouldn't be a problem to check in the next day. The room was ...
In a beautiful location, hidden away between the tourist town (with all the facilities that suggests - not in a necessarily negative way) of Estes Park and one of the entrances to the Rocky Mountain National Park, not more than 10 minutes drive away. Each room has it's own unique feel, and there ...
