It’s not the mainstream lodging, such as the bigger names. But for me it was wonderful. I stayed at another hotel of the same rating and it was the worse. This one was very clean inside the rooms. The bed, pillows were comfortable. It felt very safe and pridefully cleaned on the inside. I would recommend and definitely this is my go-to lodging if visiting Eugene again.

Stayed for 2 nights. The person checking us in was friendly and welcoming. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Plenty of bright lights outside the rooms, but the downside to this was that it felt like it was daylight in the room, even at 3am as the curtains didn’t fit well enough to block the light from coming around the sides. The listing had said breakfast was included, but nothing had been mentioned at check-in (and we forgot to ask). We passed the office a couple of times, but the door was locked and there was no obvious signs of a breakfast area. We eventually rang the bell around 9:30am and were told very politely that breakfast had finished at 9am, but it hadn’t cleared away yet so we could take some. Basic breakfast of a banana and cereal bars in a bag with coffee and pastries, but enough to keep us going through the morning. Overall, a comfortable stay with friendly hosts.

My stay was a last minute booking during an ice storm. I only paid around $70, so I wasn’t expecting a 5 star hotel. For the price, the room was very clean, everything was functional, and the staff were extremely friendly. I would stay here again.

Owner of the property lied on the phone to me to get me to book then when i arrived told me he cant take the card i had since it was debit. I made a point of asking if debit (not credit) is okay on the phone and he said yes. Showed up got rejected, told me to get a refund then walked away when i was in mid sentence asking how to get a refund on same day booking.

I left the office after you and your wife left the office. I answered all your questions before you guys left. You told me you rented the room for your relative who was sick. You gave me your mother's credit card which I can't use because your mother was not with you. Please be honest when writing a review.

Our room was very small. The bathroom was so small you could barely turn around. It was very cold, even with the heat turned up very high, and was very loud. We couldn't get warm even under the covers. The internet didn't work, nor did the phone. The pics on Expedia made it look so much nicer. On the good side, the water was nice and hot, and the towels were large and fluffy. We will not stay there again.

Yes this is a very old motel but we have a great record of keeping it clean which is very important by our point of view. It was extremely cold when we came in. The heater was not on. The staff said as long we waited 15 minutes in cold room , the room would be warm. It was terrible experience. We do not stay, but we were told we would not get refund.

We have heaters in all the rooms. All you have to do is turn the heater on and it heats up the room in less than 10 minutes. So sorry that you had terrible experience because you didn't know how heater works.

Your dog and pocket book will be happy!
Americas Best Value Inn is perfectly named. A good value for what you get. I love that it is one story (no one walking on your head) and the sound proofing is good. The bed is firm but comfortable, and everything looks clean and works fine. The folks at the front desk were also very nice. I was happy that I brought my own pillow as the six they provided were all a bit too firm for my taste. I also was glad I happened to have an extra blanket in my car (I travel with my dog) because the one they provided was a little thin. The heater worked, but I like a cooler room when I sleep and to be under more blanket at the same time. Also loved that they are dog friendly, and despite the fact that the facility is sandwiched between two very busy streets, I could only barely hear the road noise in my room (located in the middle of the lot). This place will not impress your mother-in-law, but you will sleep well and your dog and pocket book will be happy! I would stay there again.

It was terrible! We were charged $355 for a night that I shouldn't have paid more then $30 for. It's old, run down, smells, not clean, not comfortable. We are not picky and stay in very middle of the road hotels. This was far below average. I would not have this hotel on your website.
