Not so nice motel

Cons: Tear it down and rebuild and fire all the management
Yes my experience was not so nice. I was expecting Americas Best Hotel and my mistake Americas best value motel. It was close to a busy street so traffic noise. The room was freezing and the noisy heater came on and off about every 60 sec so we had to turn it off when we went to bed and woke up at 3 am freezing. The sheets were stained so good thing we brought a seeping bag and laid on that and just used the top sheet and blanket. No coffee in the room. The breakfast in the morning was a joke. I asked for juice or water, they only provided tap water. No muffins, eggs, bacon etc. I only saw waffles and cold cereal. I paid over $60 for the room a total rip off!!!

Eugene America's Best

Pros: Location, price.
Cons: Door needs to be better sealed. Staff needs educstion on service animals.
Location: Near U of O, convention center, Amtrak and Greyhound stations. Short drive from airport.
Comfortsble, affordable motel near downtown and university. Pets are welcome, but the difference between a service dog and a pet is not understood. The staff was very accommodating in giving us a room near grass for my son's dog, but did not understsnd why my son needed to have the dog with him at all times... it is a service dog not a pet. When my son went to tske a shower, he found the shower head dangling and part of curtain rod disconnected, both of which he fixed himself. Other thsn these things, the room was comfortable as were the beds, and the price was fair.

It was nice they had a mini fridge stove oven and microwavemicrowave laundry facility on site and it was 1 floor so no one above you making noise

Cons: The space for breakfast
Location: Golfing
It is OK but the space of the breakfast. When somebody else approach we have to make the way.

Leaves much to be desired

- Water on bathroom floor when we arrived - Room was freezing, heater worked but then overheated the room - Thin blankets - Had to call desk for Wi-Fi password - Sad continental breakfast (coffee, cereal, bread, waffles that stick) - Nice hot shower

Small but nice

This motel is small but nice to stay at. It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very limited to waffles, toast, and 2 different cereals. Otherwise good service and very clean. The bed was a little too soft but that is just a personal preference. It was nice to only have 1 floor of rooms, so we didn’t have anyone stomping around upstairs. I was pleasantly surprised with our overall experience.

It’s a good one night stay. I would recommend they get rubber backed rugs for the rooms because Eugene is a very rainy city and we nearly slipped 4 times. It’s cozy and the aging rooms are a bit nostalgic.

Over priced rooms

The rooms need to be updated. The shower curtain was torn. No Kleenex in the room. Draft under the door was annoying. For the price we paid, it wasn't a good value.
