Pros: Easy access from busy city streets
Cons: Put coffee makers in the rooms. For the price, I deserve coffee whnever I want it.....FRESH
Location: Its in the heart of business area close to most things you would want to access
I like that you can enter from either 7th or 6th as both are one way. Check-in clerk was,at best, aloof. Hated no coffee maker in room. World's smallest bathroom...cant close door if you sit on toilet. shower valve picky when you try to set temp. AC/heater unit blows right at bed or blows curtains all over...someone thankfully left a bobby pin I used to keep curtain closed. Nice new furnishings and new laminate floor....right at the door so you track rain all over the floor when you come in. Best to have a small car as parking spaces are small. Folks at counter for breakfast were friendly. Overall, it was an adequate room, which is all I required.

Price was much higher than quality of hotel

Pros: The room we were in had little heat from a heater cranked at 85 degrees. There was a jet tub with no stopper in the bottom, so my husband went to ask
Cons: The heater is fixed. The tub needs to be both functional and fixed.
Location: We just drove through on the way to Portland from Yreka, Ca. We did not look around for things to do.

There was a jet tub with no stopper in the bottom, so my husband went to ask management for a plug when they informed him that "the tub does not work, but it is ok because we did not charge you extra for it." The continental breakfast was two kinds of cereal, coffee,milk orange juice, toast and waffles. So besides the bad not such a rotten place to stay.

Overnight stay

Pros: That it had a fridge.
Cons: The facilities.
Location: This hotel is not in the best area. Lots of homeless people on the streets.
Room was dated. This hotel has a charge for a dog stay, but no added value for your dog. Not sure why there is a charge? There is no area on the premises for your dog to go to the washroom. You must walk them off the premises which can be a little scary at night.

We value your constructive feedback. Yes, we are a dog friendly hotel but we do have a deposit for pets. Pet fees are charged to help address any cleaning costs involved with pets. Because of our central location in the city, it is hard to have large fields available for walking your pets. Our staff however, is available to provide suggestion and indicate where you can go nearby and on the property to walk your dog. Again, we appreciate your feedback and we hope to see you back at our hotel soon.

Room was cold and dirty. Had to plug in the clock and set it, also the heating unit.

Wouldn't stay here ever.

I originally booked rooms through Expedia for the three day volleyball tournament. After booking, I had a change of plans and had to decrease the room stay from 3 night to 2 nights. At check-in I immediately explained all of this to the manager and he gave me the steps to follow that included calling Expedia, he then informed me that I had a $50.00 refund coming. All this seemed fair until when during the telephone call to Expedia he claimed that we had not checked out and he would only give a $10.00 refund. (We had actually checked out on the second day there like I told him we would, we left the hotel premises at 6:45 am for a volleyball tournament and never returned).

We apologize for the inconvenience. The manager at the desk had advised Expedia to charge only 2 nights plus $10 cancellation fee (loosing the 3 nights stay discount). Expedia associate might not have understood the situation. If you like you could contact Expedia and advise them about the 2 nights charge plus $10 fee. Expedia should have refund you one night minus $10 cancellation fee.

Good and bad

The room was very comfortable and would have been fine in moderate weather. Unfortunately, there was an ice storm a few days before I arrived. The parking lot was covered in ice. I suggested that they sprinkle some ice melt so we could safely walk from the rooms to the breakfast but it didn't happen. The waffles were great but no decaf coffee or tea. There were visible gaps around the door which made keeping the room warm a challenge. I kept the window unit at 75 degrees to compensate. The staff were very pleasant and helpful but did nothing to mitigate the dangerous ice.

Convient to downtown, refueling and highways.

Stay was good for overnight while driving for business and just needing a clean place to rest and well lighted parking. Just 2-3 minutes to downtown and closer to highway access. Staff friendly and helpful, clean and comfortable bed for sleep with nice simple breakfast and coffee. Heater was quite effective, rare freezing temps for the area, however needed to switch off due to dryness of air. Overall a good stay!
