walking distant to my son's apartment

Posted Nov 27, 2016
Pros: Location
Cons: Tub is really really old and moldy tile
Location: son is a student at the university of oregon
Hotel is outdated, but cozy, I got the separated bedrooms(my mom snores) and it worked out But would have been nice if she had her own heater, we spent thanksgiving week in Oregon and it was cold,so she would leave her bedroom door open and I could still hear her snore :( (but not that bad) we stayed there for 4 nights, the 1 part I did not like but was tolerable was the tub, it had hair inside the drainage (cleaning crew please pick that up daily and scrub the tile) oh and while i was booking it said this hotel and around hotels had one or two rooms left ,to book fast, that wasn't the case here at all, this hotel and around where completely empty! Happy Bookings Everyone ;) Elisa A.

Pros: Location
Cons: New bedding and refreshed rooms.
Location: University of Oregon sport events
Room smelled musty and of old cigarette and pet smells even though it was a non-smoking and no pets allowed room. Sheets were cheap/ uncomfortable.

Disgusting

Posted Nov 16, 2016
Hairs on the sheets. Questionable stains on the blanket. Cigarette burn on the blanket. Stained carpet. Tile falling off the wall of the extremely outdated and dirty bathroom. Just disgusting

Broadway Inn is old. Doors were dirty. Not worth the price. You can hear people outside. Will not stay there again.

Nice little motel in downtown Eugene.

Posted Nov 10, 2016
Pros: Reservation and check in. Washer and dryer. The friendly staff. The clean rooms.
Location: Perfect downtown location. Every kind of restaurant you could want within walking distance.
Nice place. Easy to book on Expedia app. I have stayed there several times for work. Walking distance to everything like restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, the convenience stores. Staff is really nice. The price is right. There's a pool, vending machines and a washer and dryer which is a big plus for business travelers. I've stayed at other places in Eugene but I prefer the Broadway because of the location and ease of booking and check in and price.

Hotel was very old and had a very intense old smell in the room. Nice front desk people but then no one was there to review your check out bill.

Never again

Posted Sep 25, 2016
Pros: The owner is very kind!
Cons: Everything!
Location: Close to UofO but the new Hub student housing across the street is very loud. The kids were up partying and yelling every night until 2:00am
WOW! Clean but needs everything updated. We never took off our shoes. Laid towels in the shower to shower. Just very run down and old.

We regret that you had such a bad experience during your stay with us. Unfortunately there isn't much that we can do about the Hub other than what we already do on a regular basis with is call the non-emergency number for EPD and make a noise complaint. We are updating our rooms as quickly as we can and hope that someday you might return to give us a second chance.

Good for a day not a week

Posted Sep 23, 2016
The hotel staff were very nice and welcoming, however the rooms were old fashioned and not kept up well. I stayed for 10 days and after 2 I had to switch rooms because the handle on the door had fallen off the first one. They broke in through the window, which had been left unlocked prior to my stay leaving me with not the best sense of safety. I also had multiple problems with the Internet and my key card. When I got to the new room the lights were unplugged and the phone did not work. The fridge was in a position that prevented you from opening the door properly. When the air conditioning would blow it smelt like there may have been mold or something else being blown along with the air. There was a hole in the duvet cover. The walls are fairly thin and there was a gap under the door so you could hear when others were outside and talking in their rooms. At the end of my stay I was disappointed to find out that the room rate currently was significantly cheaper than what I had originally pre-paid, especially as I stayed for so many nights (I paid around $80 a night and the lower rate was around $52). Overall it would be a fine place to stay for a day or two but no longer. It is in a good location for downtown and campus.

we will be addressing the problems you experienced directly. I am not sure how the prepay websites adjust the rate they give per night but I know that we adjust our rate to match every night that you stay with us.

Definitely Will Stay Again

Posted Sep 20, 2016
Location: About two minutes to Autzen Stadium for Duck games!
The manager went out of his way to be accommodating, the rooms were clean and equipped with a microwave and refrigerator, the continental breakfast was very good, and the location was great.
