Great location

Posted Aug 17, 2017
Preston the receptionist was very friendly. We stayed in Eugene to eat at Texas Roadhouse, he wanted to give us coupons to eat there, but couldn't find any. Thoughtful 😊 Great location to shop

Where was the customer service?

Posted Jul 13, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: See above
Location: Alton Baker park is amazing
The hotel overall is in a good spot, close to the river and near a fantastic park, but that is where the fun ends. During the day, we were in our room and the guests upstairs were walking around. WOW it was so loud, but in the middle of the day I didn't think much about it. Fast forward to just before 11 PM. I'm in bed sleeping and then I hear not only adults walking but little kids running back and forth. I wait and wait and the running continues. I finally got out of bed and called the front desk. Ring ring.. nothing. I hang up and call twice, three times .. then finally four times. I just rings and rings. Why did I use the in-room phone? More on that later. I got dressed and walked down to the front desk. I told the man that I was calling to let them know about noise. He said, as he pointed to the phone system “ it must be on night ring" and the woman said quickly, " I was upstairs." Told them about the noise and the said they would take care of it. I returned to my room and the noise continued for another 5-8 minutes before it stopped. 5:30 and the pounding on the floor starts. I hear the bath start and then the shower. Are they IN MY room? It was loud. I understand it’s hard to control guests, but the renovation was not performed well. I could hear the next-door guests as well. Why didn’t I use the house phone? We wanted to charge our phones near the bed. The 2 outlets are filled with the alarm clock / phone and the 2 bed lights. Remodel fail

Broken elevator

Posted Jul 10, 2017
Got to the hotel to find the elevator was broken and not to be fixed for several days. We were on the 3rd floor and we are able bodied but many people had difficultly. Also the free breakfast was most inedible

Large rooms, upgraded, clean and on a big park for dog walking. Easy access to good food, pubs etc., walk (.5 mile) or drive. A lot of food options nearby.

Excellence

Posted Jul 6, 2017
Pros: I like a late breakfast, so ten am gives leisure to the morning. Check out is at noon so gives the extra hour. And the location is superb.
Cons: Everything is run so well I don't really see room for improvement
Location: The setting on Alton Baker Park is lush and green and the trails have access to anywhere in Eugene.
This is one of the best establishment we stay at. The location on Alton Baker Park is gorgeous and has walking/biking trails everywhere. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, helpful and professional. There is a swimming pool/spa and fitness center. The breakfasts are complete and go until 10 am. Check out time is noon. Everything is covered for a comfortable, luxurious and enjoyable stay
