Great location for venue access

Posted Mar 6, 2017
Pros: Great location for venue access; free wifi; heater worker great and was appreciated when we woke up to snow the next morning.
Cons: Parking is limited; hot water ran out in shower; could raise the shower head for taller people
Location: Right across the street from University of Oregon and the Matthew Knight Arena. Would be easy walk to U of O track facility.
Hotel is okay. Parking is very limited and tight quarters if you have a large vehicle. Room could use upgrading including raising the shower head and the hot water seemed to run out. Staff was very attentive and helpful and it was right across the street from the Matthew Knight Arena for the concert we attended so the older appearance didn't matter as much as location.

First time at the University Inn

Posted Feb 21, 2017
Pros: Close to my conference spot.
Cons: Shower water pressure.
Location: Near college campus across from basketball arena. Close to many restaurants.
The people were pleasant. There was a sport team staying the night and I could tell I was around young , college age, kids. The room refrigerator froze our food and drinks. In the end all we needed was a bed for a couple of nights and that's what we got.

Nice motel convienent to campus and fairgrounds

Posted Feb 16, 2017
The pictures exagerated the luxury, and the bath tub was just that, there were no jets - not a spa, as advertised. However the staff were extremely helpful and kind.

Thank you for your positive feedback. We apologize for the misunderstanding, as only a particular room type includes a jacuzzi tub with jets. These rooms are available upon request, but unfortunately not all of our rooms include them. We're very happy to hear that your overall stay was pleasant and that our staff was friendly and helpful. We look forward to seeing you again in the future.

Quiet and perfect location

Posted Jan 29, 2017
Not fancy but location by U of O could not be better. Perfect for campus visits as you are across the street from starting point and near everything. Very quiet and nice staff who made us feel welcome.

Poor is being nice

Posted Jan 17, 2017
Pros: Location only
Cons: A remodel with attention to detail and better cleaning with vacuums that work
Location: University of Oregon across the street
Rundown room right down to the giant iron burn on the floor. Poor water pressure and water damage to squeaky bathroom door. Cleanliness was really bad. Carpet was disgusting! I've stayed at plenty of dumps that rate higher than this.

Nice hotel across from Matthew Knight Arena

Posted Dec 31, 2016
Pros: Nice to have continental breakfast, but food was only good, not great.
Cons: I would like the option of printing my boarding pass myself, as opposed to the staff having to do it.
Location: Right across the street from Matthew Knight Arena, so very convenient if you're going to a game or concert there, or an event at Hayward Field.
Room was clean. Toilet was old, and had to hold down flusher for it to flush. Wi-Fi was good.

Overnight stay on vacation

Just a quick overnight stop and room was adequate. Very busy on check in as there was an ice storm in the area and power was out in some locations. Limited breakfast and had to ssk for coffee to be refilled
