Friendly staff and clean room

Posted Aug 12, 2016
Pros: Clean rooms and friendly staff.
We had a very enjoyable stay here. All of the staff that we were in contact were very friendly. The room was very clean. Even though the hotel is on one of the main streets, it was very quiet. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

wonderful room! very clean and wonderful breakfast

Posted Aug 1, 2016
Pros: Everything
Location: We traveled to the red woods. Not much of anything else was offered to the tourist, we could not find one tourist shop any where in town
Not impressed with the town, but the hotel stay was fabulous we had a nice clean room which was very quiet considering it was facing the main street, Breakfast was the best! we had never been offered such a great breakfast from any hotel we stayed at. We was on the road for two weeks and I would rate this one as a 5.

Room was clean. Staff nice/

Posted Jul 25, 2016
Pros: Bed very comfortable.
Location: Old town interesting. Ghost tour gave lots of interesting history. Ferndale was interesting.
We were traveling with friends. We play a game called Mexican Train. Need a large table. They let us use their breakfast room at night so we were able to put two tables together to play the game. Very nice of them.

Nice Hotel close to many amenities

Bed was comfortable but the pillows were super thick to lay my head on. Bathroom had a good amount of space to move around in. Breakfast was basic no frills.

Was actaully grossed out by the room, dingy lighting, cracked walls, nonworking jacuzzi, hair and blood stains on sheets....unacceptable

Walking distance to large Target store

Posted May 22, 2016
Pros: Reasonable priced and very clean.
Location: On the outskirts of town, but there is a Target superstore within walking distance. Would need transportation to get to historical old town.
We were impressed with the cleanliness, courtesy, and especially by the use of glasses and cups in our room instead of paper cups.

Not clean

Posted May 3, 2016 on Hotels
The staff were great. The Breakfast was more than your typical continental. the room; however, was terrible. The floor looked as if it hadn't been vacuumed and had cigarette burn scars in the carpet. The room and the sheets smelled of smoke. It was clear that the person in the neighboring room was smoking in a non-smoking area.

Just no

We stayed about 10 minutes in this room and then decided we needed to book someplace else. I know that it is a "budget" hotel, but the $90 a night was unreasonable for this place. We had a non-smoking room that reeked of cigarettes. A few of the lights in the room didn't work making it look even more dank and seedy. The bath tub looked dirty. If your room is on the first floor, you are really close to the highway.
