Older facility showing its age

Pros: Proximity to Six Flags.
Cons: While the rooms aren't bad the rest of the facility feels a bit worn at the edges. Staff definitely could offer a more enthusiastic welcome.
Location: A stone's throw for Six Flags which is the main reason to stay there.
It's an older facility. Try not to get a room overlooking the pool unless you want to deal with the chlorine smell and the noise. Reception staff were a bit indifferent.

Nice older unique hotel.

Loved our updated room, very clean. The bedding was very nice but the oddly too soft mattresses hurt my back. We didn't purchase food from this hotel so I can't comment. The whole family loved the pool area, clean, well kept and plenty of towels!! Overall a great hotel!!

Nice hotel next to 6Flags.

Pros: I love the fact that it was right next to 6 Flags and I was able to walk over to the park.
Cons: Nothing
Location: The location was great and You could travel along RT 66 as well as visit downtown St Louis.
Everything was great. There many restaurants nearby and a gas station as well so I didn't have to travel far to gas up.

Worth the money

We enjoyed this hotel. It was worth the extra money to not have to pay for parking at six flags. The only thing that was misleading was the breakfast option. If you get the breakfast option it's only for 2. Then you have to pay for the rest of the family so we did not use.

nice hotel close to 6 flags

Location: close to six flags, Meramac caverns, Sky Zone trampoline park, and The Magic House
close to 6 flags and other area attractions. Kids enjoyed fundome with pool, kids pool, hot tub, arcade games, pool table and air hockey. Very accommodating staff. Had to stay two extra days because six flags was closed when we arrived

Convenient

Pros: The beds and refridgerator.
Cons: Customer service and the speed of the cleaning staff.
Location: Across the street from Six Flags. No real restaurants in the area, all fast food and Chinese.
We stayed here for the Eclipse. The hotel is older and has a unique history. The staff was not very helpful. We booked two rooms and i called ahead for early check-in, two hours early. One room was ready the second one was not. We left and came back two hours later, the regular check-in time and the second room had not been touched. We came back at 8pm and it was finally ready. Poor customer service. The room itself was clean and updated. The beds were great. The restaurant in the hotel is awful. Don't waste your time. Overall it was a clean place to stay for one night but can't see that we would ever need to go there again.

Worth a little extra

Although we were only there for one night, it was a great evening. Our room was comfortable, the hotel is beautiful and the location - including the free shuttle to Six Flags - was perfect for us. There were plenty of inside activities for the kids as well. The room was large, modern and incredibly comfortable. If we had to call out anything, it was that our room door was a little swollen from the humidity and you had to give it an extra "push" to make it latch. Overall, a great hotel and a great location for Six Flags. We will definitely stay again.
