Loved shuttle to six flags!

This was a decent hotel, had nice activities for kids. The best part was the shuttle to six flags, made for such an easy and fun day. I know they are under construction with their restaurant, but would have enjoyed getting to eat there.

Good value

Only ate at hotel once due to limited menu and length of time to wait for food ( we did have a party of 6 adults and 5 kids). Price was comparative to other establishments because kids ate free. Dining staff was friendly and handled loud children well. Appreciated that staff was in the pool area when it got extremely busy to handle rowdy kids. Didn't appreciate that staff wanted to add water to hot tub during peak time. We had a suite, the air didn't seem to keep the bedroom cool enough, but the main room was great. Housekeeping did an excellent job.

Nice hotel near six flags

The rooms could use a little update but were clean. Great place to stay if your going to six flags. They have a bus that will drop you off and pick you up. It runs every 15 min. You also can get a better price on tickets at the hotel.

We will be back!

Pros: Close proximity to Six Flags. Fun hotel for my children to play and parents to relax.
Cons: Restaurant staffing.
We chose to stay at this particular Holiday Inn due to it's proximity to Six Flags. It was worth the extra $$ spent just to ride the tram back and forth from the park! The kids loved the Holidome pool and gaming area. Was super glad our room was not located near the pool, due to the noise. The room was clean. The room service staff knocked and asked if anything was needed. A maintenance man saw me with a cooler and offered to fill it with ice. So nice of him! Every single hotel staff person we encountered was so friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was a little disappointing. We ate breakfast there. When we got there there was only 3 other tables filled and had to wait to be seated. Also, the service was very slow and not that friendly. The next day we chose the buffet in the Holidome. Service there was outstanding. Our server did a wonderful job.

Hotel easy to get to off highway

Like the location. Not downtown. Quiet. Asked for handicap accessible and room was not very accessible. There was a grab bar between commode and tub but it was so close you almost had to sit sidewise and then you had to lean over it to turn on shower unless you like getting in and starting with cold water. Also found old papers or wrappers under furniture. Beds were comfortable and pool was nice.

Close to Six Flags

Had to have maintenance come fix the toilet just after we got there. The desk clerk said that they upgraded our room to one with a view. We had a view of the stairs and it was loud with kids running up and down. We were also just above the shuffleboard area and just across from the air hockey games. Great if your playing them but not if your trying to rest. I have stayed in lots of other hotels before just as close to attractions that had more amenities for the price. There was NO in-room microwave and NO refrigerator and no wired Internet hook up.

Have had better

So when j got to the hotel I noticed the door did not close right, then the TV did not work they had to change it out , neXT the show had no pressure ,remote did not have battery's and last the pool table only had 5 pool balls will never stay at this hotel again it was the first time I used Expedia and wii not do that again
