Fair price, good proximity to the harbor (eats), staff was great but small thing–no chairs on the ocean view patio and the sliding glass door was a team lift to open. Breakfast had decent options which was nice.

It was terrible for my car to have been dropped from the ground because you have installed any danger mark in case of non-fence. Besides, the internet had never worked anywhere in the hotel. I had very bad experience because I was stopped during sending m important message. I spent one night because of mal-function of the internet and I told the manager of the hotel. But, I think the hotel may have charged two nights even if the guy said that they charged one night. Please refund me the bad accommodation.

The room is similar to the pictures however, the furniture is very cheap and dinged up. The slider door did not lock, but we were on the second floor. The heater was very stinky so we were not able to use it and it was loud extremely old probably original, they did a superficial remodel which makes it look good in the pictures, but it is still a very old hotel. Overall it was clean and the bedding was comfortable. I would not stay again, but may be suitable for others expectations.

Property has been rehabbed but still needs work. Breakfast food that was supposed to be hot was icy cold 30 minutes after dining area opened. Room was very clean. Excellent room. Great size, clean bathroom, comfortable beds, and quiet surroundings. Staff were incredibly nice and accommodating. Gave us great tips for our drive into the national/state parks. Would absolutely recommend to anyone stopping in crescent city.

Nothing specifically wrong with the hotel, it’s just a little on the worn side. Rooms were clean and reasonably large, but could do with a bit of redecoration. There was a slightly odd smell in the room (bleach?) but you stopped noticing it after a few minutes. The breakfast options were quite good, which was a bit of a bonus and free parking always helps on a road trip. It’s a 2 star hotel so I wouldn’t expect too much, and it was clean and served its purpose for a single night, but I wouldn’t recommend a long stay.

The staff is friendly and nice. The room is small and old especially the bathroom. If you're picky the cleanness, please don't stay in this hotel.

The room we stayed in was comfortable and provide a good night rest. Although the amenities were standard, they were sufficient for an overnight stay. Breakfast was decent allowing us to grab a quick bite to start our day.

This place is horrible unless your used to staying in a hotel where all the baseboards are filthy, the fridge in the room has the last guest's food (and even though you ask them to remove it they don't and you have to), there is no elevator but the creepy guy at the desk offers to carry your bags (he overdid the being nice to a point where I just wanted to lock myself in my room). The only thing at this place even worth rating higher then terrible is the bedding and towels were clean and the morning meal was decent (although the same every morning). At check in the guy couldn't figure out how to split payment between credit card and debit care (it was over a grand). It's right next to an old hotel and across from a liquor store. The view of the harbor...well let's just say I didn't open the sliding door because the drapes smelled like they had not been washed in years. Since I was on business travel and used Expedia for my reservation (the first time and last time I will do that) I was STUCK THERE FOR FOUR DAYS!

We arrived about 2:40 and noticed the sign that stated any check in before 3:00 p.m. would be an additional $30.00 We did not ask for an early check in but the on-site manager literally grunted when front desk asked if a room was ready. He was rude and there were some other issues we felt very uncomfortable with. I contacted hotels.com and when we returned Sam became very rude (again) and canceled our reservation. He boasted and showed us all his room receipts of his guests. His business is thriving to the point he can treat some potential guests in a rude manner. It was the issue that we paid $270.00 for the room and did not warrant this treatment. He canceled our reservation when we were trying to check in and I have his treatment of us on video - He did not return our money even though he was the one that canceled
