Much better than other reviews would lead you to believer. If you are traveling with a large family, this is a good property. It was clean and in good order. The apartment was mostly quiet although the party in the apartment above us made noise well past 2:00 in the morning. Two blocks from Luxembourg station, 20 min walk to Grand Place.

Not worth it
Carpet throughout and it is Dusty! No washing machine, just a smelly DW that barely worked. Biggest problem is, at the Marriot Apts you are treated like a second-class citizen, it is run by the Renaissance Hotel and they come first 100%. Walk outside to get to the hotel. Fire alarm goes off for 30 minutes, no one says a word, cant shut it off at the panel, they don't care, folks walking outside in their PJs and the hotel said nothing. No sharp knife in kitchen, asked 3 xs and just gave up. Parking: what a joke. I paid in full on arrival, 3 times it wouldn't open, making me late for work. Third time, I had to wait 23 Minutes to get out. World class gym is not world class, it is rusty and smelly with old equipment, pool can handle 4 people max. It is not in the same building, that building is owned by Thon apts, which are MUCH better, same money, clean new and with a washing machine in each room. Go with Thon, 1 block away. Marriot should revisit this, it is not worthy of their name.,

Comfortable base for Brussels visit
Very spacious apartment for family of 4. Very quiet. Had all we needed though decor was a bit dated. Some light switches were in weird places and heating couldn’t be changed. Access to renaissance hotel pool and breakfast buffet were part of reason we booked. Decent pool, but annoying we had to bring towels from the room to use at pool. We had to ask for extra to use back at our room as those we used at the pool got totally soaked. Towels should really be provided in the pool/gym area. Area very near European Parliament, ok area, very quiet at weekends.

I sincerely empathize with your feeling and apologize for the discomfort created. Please be informed that all our apartments are smoke free. However, some of the guests are unfortunately disregarding this policy and are still smoking in the facility. In order to further discourage such inappropriate behavior, we have re-enforced the non-smoking policy in all apartments with additional signage as well as an increased fee of EUR 300 per night to discourage them from smoking. Following your feedback, I understand that there is still much effort to do, and I also apologize that the chambermaid that serviced your room prior to your arrival has not escalated this issue to the housekeeping supervisor as the supervisor would have taken the appropriate corrective actions using our ozone machine to eliminate or minimize the smoking smell. I have asked our Executive Housekeeper to further emphasize on this matter to all chambermaids in order to avoid such inconvenience to other guests in the future. Additionally, I understand that you appreciated the Renaissance hotel, located next to the Marriott Executive Apartments, which are offering all the facilities for the guests, such as the reception area, the restaurant, the fitness and wellness. nice apartment near Brussels-Luxembourg station
very nice apartment in a very quiet area of Brussels Well equipped. Spacious. Very close to railway and metro train stations. Supermarkets, shops and eating choices plentiful within a 15 minute walk, Lot of mold in the bathroom. Reception is in the motel 100 metres along the street.

Great location but improvements needed
The good: The location is excellent. The apartments are well-equipped and I had everything I needed. The gym, sauna and pool are an excellent bonus. The bad: The cleanliness could be improved - the apartment could use a deep clean to ensure corners, baseboards and vents are cleaned. My apartment was renovated except for the toilet which appeared to be from another era, so that’s a strange mix. Last, I believe I was placed in a smoking room and floor didn’t know these things still existed) and I could smell cigarette smoke from time to time. So be sure to ask for non-smoking. Check in was a complete disaster. I asked for an early checkin. When that wasn’t possible, I was asked to come back at 3PM wherein they guaranteed me to have my room ready. The room wasn’t available until almost 4PM. After a long flight in and having a guest waiting in the lobby to check in for hours, I was disappointed that they weren’t able to meet their own promise. They also failed to initiate my internet so it was just another inconvenience right off the bat.

I am glad to read that you have appreciated the well-appointed apartments, the gym and sauna facility as well as the location. In the meantime, I also noticed that there is an opportunity to further enhance the cleanliness, the check-in process as your apartment was not ready upon your arrival and with the smoking smell. I sincerely empathize with your feeling and apologize for the inconvenience and discomfort created which is certainly not what we aim to achieve and it is regrettable that we had you leave our doors unhappy and dissatisfied on this occasion. Pertaining to the cleanliness, I am terribly and sincerely sorry for this service shortfall. This is totally unacceptable and way below the service standard we are training our team after the pandemic and the re-opening of the apartments. Rest assured that I have shared your feedback with our Director of Operations as well as our Executive Housekeeper to take the appropriate corrective actions and ensure the chambermaids are consistently servicing the apartments at least once for stays of 4 nights and less and twice for stays of 7 nights and above as per the standard in place at the Marriott Executive Apartments. Concerning the smoking smell, please be informed that all our apartments are smoke free. However, some of the guests are dis-regarding this policy and are still smoking in the apartments. In order to further discourage such inappropriate behavior, we have re-enforced the non-smoking policy in all apartments with additional signage as well as an increased fee of EUR 300 per night to discourage them from smoking. When I travel, I prefer to book rooms with a kitchen. The Executive Apartments had most of what I needed, in terms of kitchenware, and I loved the added living space (including a balcony) with a separate bedroom. The staff were extremely helpful when I couldn’t figure out how to use the stove.

The flats are large and comfortable in a very convenient are. The staff is very friendly and professional. The furnishings and design could do with a revamp, the interior is rather bland and old-fashioned but it serves its purpose. Cleanliness could also be improved.

Welcome to Belgium
We are relocating for my husband’s job during the Covid restrictions, and the hotel staff has done their best to make our stay comfortable, even while facing factors beyond their control. We are traveling with a small child and pet - the staff has been helpful accommodating both. Because of this positive experience, we are excited about our new adventure here in Belgium.

Good apart hotel in a nice location
I stayed in a one bedrood room, with a queen bed and a sofa (two twin beds are not possible). The kitchen is equiped with basic utensils, good enough for preparing a quick breakfast or lunch. Location is very good if you plan to be in the european quartier.

Great location less than 100 yards from key train station. Variety of restaurants located on immediate area. Property was in outstanding condition and staff was highly competent.

Right across the street from the European Parliament beautiful bedrooms very comfortable. however , there was a extremely bad smell in the hallway!!!

Family holiday
Our stay was very good apart from lack of housekeeping in the room during our stay. Location was brilliant near all attractions. There was a problem with our keys and created a serious security risk for guests.

Not sure how often the apartments were meant to be cleaned but it only happened once in five nights. Signed for breakfast for two days before the price was revealed. It cost €75 a day for two coffees and three bowls of fruit. We stopped having breakfast after we found out the price as at €25 it was really bad value. The apartments and location are superb, it's a pity we ended up with an extra €187 worth of extra expenditure with food and local taxes. For a five night stay I could have upgraded the accommodation for this cost.

There are some really negative reviews on this hotel and frankly having spent the weekend at the hotel, I cannot report a similar experience. The room was super well equipped, modern and super clean. The kitchen was remarkably well equipped and while the dishwasher wasn’t super new, it worked just fine. The reception staff were super helpful and allowed us to have a late checkout. The gym and pool are lovely as well. The underground car park is large and the charge is actually very cheap. The location is super close to the centre of Brussels, the EU buildings and the lovely Place Luxembourg with it’s lovely restaurants is just round the corner. I would recommend this hotel to everybody- very much families looking for a central location to explore Bruxelles from. We would go back.

Well located, excellent sized room, excellent shower, friendly staff. On the other hand the building is looking kind of old, smelling moldy. The balcony was very dirty, with many cigarette all over the floor and the table had leftovers from previous guests. Some of the dishes available in the kitchen were also filthy and had lipstick stains. It’s a good property but definitely needs someone to look after it.

Good choice for Brussels
Good location and good customer service. The room is large and has everything you need. Parking was great. The gym and pool were exceptional. I think the rooms need a renovation and are dated. But I beleive this is in progress. Overall great place to stay in brussels!

This hotel is literally a stone throw from the European Parliament and is surrounded by good restaurants. You can catch a bus down the street from the hotel that will take you the center of the city. Loved our stay here.
