Very nice and clean hotel. Rooms were nice and clean. Only complaint was the housekeepers were getting off the elevator and #1 didn't offer to make sure the door didn't close for us to get on #2 they almost let the door hit my 5 year old in the head. That was the only staff issue the rest were pleasant.

I've stayed here before and had decent results until this last trip. Once I checked in, I entered the room it smelled horrible. I checked the bathroom and the toilet was almost overflowing with a brown liquid. The customer should never be one to discover something like this! I immediately went back and got another room; wasn't able to get the king sized bed, but no big deal. Each day during my 4 night stay, 3 of the days upon returning to the room, the key wouldn't work. Had to visit the front desk to reprogram the key. One day I returned, the bed was made, but the trash wasn't emptied. They also removed the towel used when stepping out of the shower and didn't replace it with a new one. I used another towel, but that's not the point. It left me with the impression that whoever attempted to clean the room didn't care. I usually tend to select Hampton Inn's when traveling on business, but there are many hotels in the area and for the first time will select a competitor. I go to the area at least 4 times a year and want to give my business to someone that cares.

Cons: make reservation match request, pay more attention to reservation
Not what we reserved,not Not handicapped room,not Queen Bed,T.V. inoperative,2nd day no wash clothes,So we left early

The hotel is pretty basic. Room was damp, one window over tar pitch roof. Just a basic inexpensive hotel. Will not be back.

Nice Hotel

Pros: Friendly staff and pretty clean
Cons: Front desk to explain where things are located and hours of breakfast upon check in. I would also recommend that comforters with stain be tossed,.
Location: Location is great. Lots of restaurants and bars.
I recently stayed at this Hampton Inn while I was on a work trip in Evansville. The location was convenient for my client and it had a great selection of restaurants around it for meals. When checking in, it was very fast and the front desk clerk was nice. She didn't explain any of the amenities, breakfast hours..etc that I typically get when I check in but of course I was able to figure that out on my own. Room was suitable and pretty clean. The only thing I encountered was there was some stains on the comforter of the bed. I don't usually use that anyway so I just tossed it off. Bed was comfortable and the room was otherwise clean. Room service cleaned the room but did not replace any of the toiletries that I used. Again, not a huge deal but it would have been nice. All in all, I would recommend this hotel.

Not up to "Hampton" standards!

Disappointed in this Hampton Inn. The first room assigned had a malfunctioning toilet. Moved to another room. Sink drained very slowly. Stayed there 3 nights. On the 2nd morning, I found a sign on the breakfast room door, "Sorry for the inconvenience. Not serving breakfast this morning"!! Again on the second day when the room was serviced, no shampoo/conditioner, etc was replenished. Mattress was definitely old and needed replaced.

Pick the Residence inn not this place

The pool was freezing because the maintenance man forgot to turn the switch on , my kids didn't really want to swim bc it was freezing, the Ethernet ports in my room and the room that the GM was going to move me too were broken am deathly inoperable . The GM was very polite and apologized for the pool and internet ports.
