A little disorganized, but turned out ok

We checked in around 3:00 p.m. and were first given a room without working blinds (they would not close). When we notified the front desk we got a quick response and our room was changed. The only problem is we were given keys to a room that was already occupied! We literally walked in on someone else in the new room. I'm not sure who was more surprised. Our third room was fine, had working blinds and had no other guests in it. Still, I was a little concerned at the security issue of being given keys to an occupied room. Otherwise our stay was fine. Breakfast choices were ok although the staff member refilling the many empty breakfast selections was not terribly friendly. I would stay here again, but I hope that the disorganization that led to our walking in on someone else will be addressed and corrected. That could have gone very badly.

Nice hotel, good location

Pros: The bathroom nightlight ! Close to restaurants. Very clean.
Cons: No improvements
Very clean hotel. There was a nice variety of waters and coffee/tea available in the lobby. Upon prompt check-in we also received a discount card for a nearby restaurant. Our hotel room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. I LOVED the fact there was a built -in night-light in the bathroom ! There was an extra blanket in the closet as well. Parking lot was well lit and we felt entirely safe her. There is a Texas Roadhouse within walking distance . Bar Louie ( a nice restaurant ) and Cracker Barrel were only a 2 minute drive away. It's very convenient to the travelers . It's only 5 minutes from the interstate but far enough away there is NO traffic noise. There was a bit of renovation going on near the lobby but nothing I wouldn't hold against staying there. We didn't eat breakfast there or use any other facilities ( pool) while there.

Room was not cleaned

Pros: Good breakfast
Cons: Make sure ALL rooms are cleaned daily.
Room was not cleaned one day (nor night) while we were there for a 3 day/2 night stay. Had to call for emptying of trash, towels, etc. when we returned to the room at 8 PM. Room not vacuumed nor bed made. The evening front desk person was overwhelmed with duties and did all he could as no housekeeping staff-- or other staff-- was there to help out. . We were refunded 20%. Breakfast was good. Front desk staff was hard working and friendly but staffing inadequate both evenings--- poorly managed!

Very clean and everyone was super nice. Also very close to Gateway Hospital, with several places to eat in the area.

Staff goes the extra mile at this hotel

Check-in and Check-out we're simple. Staff went the extra mile (They went as far as carrying my breakfast dishes away). Location was centralized to everything in the Evansville area. Overall perfect stay!
