One of our biggest things when staying at any hotel is cleanliness. While the room was adequate in size, it could use a little upgrading and a good thorough clean. In-room microwaves and coffee pots are great features to have, but when they look like they haven't been cleaned/wiped down in ages, they are essentially rendered useless. There was an abnormally high amount of visible "crud" on the outside of each of these appliances (pretty sure the microwave was from the 70s) in our room, so we didn't touch them. Thank the Heavens they had fresh coffee downstairs. There were also crushed Doritos in the bottom of the closet, some sort of splatters/drippings on the bathroom door, and random hairs (definitely not ours) found on one of the beds. So while it's fantastic that they offer complimentary breakfast downstairs in the morning, we bypassed this entirely since we were concerned about the general cleanliness of the establishment.
Other things to note are multiple inoperable electrical plugs in the room and the overwhelming smell of weed in the elevator and the floor we were on.
