I enjoyed my stay. My daughter had a pool party and a sleepover. Everything went smooth. The staff was nice and tentative.

Tessa was great to check us in and when my wife and I reported to Tessa about the leak in the tub, she stated she will get someone to look at it asap ! The Hotel manager was equally impressive ! Got us checked out told us to have a great weekend :) This the second time I have spoke to her briefly, she is just a wonderful personj !

Checked in around 8pm after a long day of driving, got our room right away. Was quiet evening. Dogs are welcome to stay we didnt have ours but we heard some in the morning

The front of the appliances in the kitchen and mirror on the closet doors were not very clean. I had a few ants in the kitchen. I felt the breakfast during the week was like leftovers. Both days there was very little to select from. The attendant was more worried about watching/playing on her phone. The front desk clerks were great as well as the breakfast attendant during the weekend.

Site was overbooked and told me that they didn't have a room for me. They found a room for me at another hotel for my first night. The second night of my reservation, I was supposed to return to this hotel. Again, I was told they were overbooked and I was sent to another hotel again. I would not ever recommend staying here, as the manager stated that overbooking is their general policy and preference is given to those people staying 30 days or longer.

John, I am so very sorry for not having the room available. We do not purposely overbook but we did have an issue where the reservation system had a virus and showed us having more rooms then what is actually available. it took a week to get this issue corrected.Please accept my apology and we hope you will reconsider.

Overbooked and bumped to nowhere
I booked at this hotel a month or two ago for a sports event. When I checked in, I learned the Residence Inn was overbooked and I was given a walk letter which moved me to a neighboring hotel. When I went to check in at that hotel, the Residence Inn had reserved me a room with only one bed for our party of three (not all family members ) and were sold out of rooms. This hotel (Fairfield Inn) was nice enough to call other hotels in the area but all were full. I was finally able to get a room at the Fairfield Inn when someone walked up, checked in, and canceled their second room. Why would the Residence Inn sell more rims than they had?

This is a clean, nice place to stay. There is always plenty of parking and a nice lake with a sidewalk for an outdoor stroll. The staff knocked themselves out to take good care of us and some special requests. There is a full kitchen and they will even do the shopping for you if you leave a grocery list in the morning. We will stay there again when we are in Evansville.

This hotel was really nice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We were traveling with our 4 year old and she loved the pool!

The breakfast was very marginal. Pancake eggs?? Stick to scrambled. Only thing I liked was oatmeal.

We always try to stay here when we visit Evansville. We have zoo memberships even though we are from another state. Residence Inn by Marriott is well worth coming back to time and again.

We really enjoyed the stay, but I booked and paid in advance and they over booked the property. My room had no air conditioning and we had to use a fan. Or go somewhere else and pay again before I would have received my money back from the first hotel. That part was not great at all and we didn’t even get offered a discount or anything for us having to deal with their mess up.
