Jaybird Retreat is a pair of adorable cottages in a gorgeous riverfront setting, so peaceful you'll forget your just an hour from Seattle. The main Jaybird Cabin has everything your group will need; a full kitchen, dining area, and enough seating to all sit around the electric fireplace while tinkering on the keyboard. Enjoy outdoor meals from the propane grill on the riverside deck- just around the corner from the sparkling hot tub where you can relax and gaze at the stunning view of the Cascade Mountains. Chickadee Cottage is a sweet studio snuggled on the side with a kitchenette and daybed that converts from a king bed to a sofa/twin during the day to create a cozy living space. The spacious and private yard offers plenty of space for each cottage to feel very private while still being able to enjoy the company of the group when everyone's ready for the campfire or board games. These two adorable cabins can comfortably accommodate 4+ guests in beds: JAYBIRD CABIN 1- Charming queen bedroom with full en-suite bath, full kitchen, solid 6-person dining table (perfect for board games and puzzles on a rainy day!), living area set around the on-demand electric fireplace with one sofa that folds flat to a full size bed for a third guest to stay in the main house. CHICKADEE COTTAGE- Adorable “studio” with ¾ bath, main area doubles as living/sleeping space when converting the sofa to a twin or king bed. The kitchenette is equipped to fully accommodate two guests with a cook top, microwave, mini-fridge and a full array of dish, cook and glassware. OUTDOOR: Jaybird has a sizeable riverside deck perched over the Skykomish River and right next to a 5-seat hot tub. Sightings of black bears across the river, rafters floating by, eagles nesting a few doors down, hummingbirds and blue jays will fill your days with wondrous nature without ever leaving the property. An outdoor firepit is the perfect way to cap off a day of adventure. WHAT TO DO: You'll be in the foothills of the North Central Cascades, just minutes from the local grocery store and dining options in one direction, and hiking, rock climbing, rafting, skiing and more in the other! This is an excellent location to also enjoy other Washington adventures as it's about an hour from Seattle, the Bavarian themed village of Leavenworth, or a couple hours to the sound for whale watching, island hopping and more!

Guest accommodations at this cottage offer fireplaces and coffee/tea makers. Rooms open to patios. Kitchens offer refrigerators, stovetops, microwaves, and separate dining areas. Bathrooms include shower/tub combinations and hair dryers.
