We thought we were paying for one of the better spa rooms and to our horror realise that the bathroom door ( unlocked by the way) led straight into the hallway corridor we could hear people they could hear us we felt very uncomfortable

Luxurious retreatPosted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: Everything for the discerning traveller.
Cons: Nothing in my view.
Booked this hotel at short notice through Expedia because I needed somewhere reasonable to stay overnight while in the Byron Bay area. What a pleasant surprise. Convenient location just off the beaten track, ten minutes drive from town. Beautiful grounds and very quiet. My room was excellent and I enjoyed possibly the best breakfast I have ever had. Thoroughly recommended.

cobwebs in the room and no complimentary service that stands out for a $400 a night stay

Pros: Beautiful gardens
Cons: Musty room with mould growing on door frames. We left two days early
Location: Nice position, Reasonable access
Facilities: Tired, stylish but dated; Value: Pricey, Could be better; Service: Lacking; Cleanliness: Smelly, Musty smell and mouldy; We gave the owner notice that we would not stay and asked for the room to be readvertised so we would get a refund. This was not done!

It is unfortunate that some feel the need to fabricate & then exaggerate issues. Strict cancellation policies are put into place for a reason. We recommend researching & understanding the terms and conditions prior to booking a reservation to avoid having to defame a brand.

Overnight delight!Posted Jan 21, 2013
Pros: Many inside and outside area's to relax around, very clean, professional staff
Cons: Was all good!
Location: Away from the hustle and bustle of Byron, but still close to shops etc. if you have a car/bike
Victoria's was a cosy and comfortable place to stay. Victoria herself was friendly and professional. I look forward to staying there again.
