The pools were great and the old- time ambience genuine. Hotel is off the beaten track. Only wish doa robes were in the rooms.

Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing that I can think of/
Location: The location is kind of off the beaten path and not really close to anything else. We never left the property and just enjoyed the serves offered,
This hotel is so cute. It has all the charm of an older hotel. The food was excellent and the spa was awesome too. A great place to spend a day with girl friends.

Wonderful Winter Weekend in April

Stayed at The Elms for a spa weekend and had a lovely experience. I would highly recommend the spa. Enjoyed a couples massage and facial and cannot sing enough praises for the grotto experience. Make this spa a "to do" list for a summer get away. The staff is friendly and the only draw back was room service forgetting our room until later in the evening. Cannot wait to come back for another visit.

was very nice but just a short overnight would have been more fun in the summer to enjoy the pool

70th birthday girl weekend

Wonderful Hotel. Beautiful, great service and clean. Would have liked a fridge and microwave in room. The spa experience was superb. A bit pricey but worth it. Very friendly and professional spa staff. Massage was great. The Grotto area was a relaxing treat. The food in the 88 Restaurant was disappointing. The chicken corn chowder soup was not good..too thick and flavor not good. Salad was fine. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice and the service superb. I will be back to this hotel.

Very nice hotel with a nice indoor lap pool. The only complaint was that the indoor hot tub was broken when we stayed. The restaurant served an excellent Sunday brunch and the bar upstairs was a nice place to relax and unwind with a few cocktails. Overall my experience was a memorable one and I hope to stay here again in the future. There was also a very good BBQ place within walking distance.

3 friends decided to come here for our bday' and 2 of us got rooms. The most disappointing thing was lack of customer service among all the staff I encountered. Staff didn't greet at counter, waited for a while to finish a call and never said "I'll be right with you" etc. Maybe coming off Easter it's a slow time and staff down sized? I guess I was expecting great service or some strong leadership and the staff seemed like serving customer wasn't the culture. The spa was nice and a few friendlier/service oriented people in there. I maybe willing to give another chance more in season.

Wonderful Hotel!!!

Pros: It's unique architecture and history as well as the wide variety of luxuries it offers.
Location: Didn't stay long enough to really explore the areal.
The staff was friendly, the rooms were beautiful, and the food was delicious! Only stayed 1 night, but definitely plan on going back for a longer stay. Can't wait!
