Great Theatre GroupPosted Aug 20, 2017
There was an Open Air Theatre Production due to take place at The Valley of The Rocks but due to inclement weather it was moved to the Town Hall. The cast members were out asking people to come to see their play so we did. It was really funny & entertaining plus an excellent rendition of Much to do About Nothing.

Lovely stay, too short!!Posted Aug 17, 2017
Pros: homely stylish feel and staff
Cons: dont change anything, it would ruin the charm of the place!
Location: Lynton and Lymouth is gorgeous, the cliftop railway is just at the top ofthe Seawoods garden and watermeet is a 5 min drive away, amazing area
My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Seawood, the room was exactly as it looked in the pictures with a great view and excellent bathroom, everything has had great care taken over it in regards to each rooms style which i really loved. The bed was very comphy too! The owner was lovely, greeting us with a little tour and a good chat in the bar in the evening about her travels made us feel really welcome and at home. The breakfast was lovely and other staff very nice and attentive, nothing seemed too much trouble. We will be back

Amazing locationPosted Jul 31, 2017
Pros: Location especially
Terrific location so close to both villages - Lynmouth and Lynton. View spectacular. Room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Owner was very helpful and friendly in recommending places for dinner and things to do.
Lovely sea views from small hotel.Posted Jul 16, 2017 on Hotels
Competent hotel experience for a very small establishment. Breakfast period only 45mins. Limited parking space. Friendly staff. Convenient for cliff railway to Lynmouth seafront and close to good restaurants and footpath to The Valley of the Rocks (and wild goats!).
Great get-away-from-it-all locationPosted Jun 26, 2017 on Hotels

Great views over bay. Very enjoyable. Free room upgrade. Decided to dine in every night because the food and cooking was very good. Very helpful hostess. Great walking. Civilised local towns.

Very good hotel in a perfect position next to the cliff railway. The staff are very attentive and polite. Can't fault our stay there in any way. The views from the hotel are stunning. If you like walks this hotel is in the perfect position to do great coastal walks all with breathtaking views. Would recommend highly and hoping to visit again soon.
