Pleasant Surprise!

Posted May 13, 2015 on Hotels
Location was convenient. The full breakfast was a surprise. I expected continental but they have waffles, eggs, bacon or sausage. Staff was courteous, room was clean and equipped with microwave, refrigerator and freezer.

Nice property but showing signs of wear...

Posted Nov 29, 2014
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Attend to maintenance
Spent two nights with the family at this property located at the Lionville crossroads. First impression is great and the beds were comfortable. Be aware however, the property is showing signs of unattended to wear. The AC/Heat unit had dislodged slightly from the wall and the gap permitted the sound of every passing truck to be heard all night long. Though asked to fix it (on Thanksgiving day), they did not. The hotel's pool had a sign on the door saying "out of order" with no further explanation provided. The kids were disappointed, particularly because from the doorway, it appeared to be perfectly fine. Elsewhere in our guest room, there were unfilled holes from where a previous shower curtain rod had been installed. Paint on the bathroom door frame had peeled off leaving bare wood. When repositioning the shower head's aim, the entire pipe twisted (there's a disaster waiting to happen). All minor things, but indicative of inattentive maintenance. Else, the staff, breakfast and public spaces were all excellent.

Nicw mid-price hotel

Getaway weekend... nice hotel, looks like a conversion from another brand. Smallish room and minimum bathroom, and pool is very small. I'd use it again at this price, but not a luxury stay.
