Nice room and grounds. BUT DO NOT STAY HERE. General Manager, Front Desk Manager or Clerk WERE NOT AVAILABLE. Housekeeping only offered once every 4 days according to maid; no one makes the bed, empties the garbage(s), nor do used towels get replaced each day. Shuttle driver had a full load when we arrived at 1am. He said that he "was only going to the Bear Lodge and would be right back to get us" and others who were left behind on the curb. About 1hr later, he returned from the 8 mile drive (16 mile round trip) to the "resort" and back. We called and got a front desk clerk at 1am. The clerk said we could "take a cab if we didn't want to wait." Then, from another guest who had called, we are told "the driver had other things to do" instead of coming right back. What "things" would those be for a shuttle driver at 1am while ostensibly "on the clock" and being paid to serve arriving guests? Then to find out that our approx $200/nite room doesn't come with housekeeping from a maid in a hallway the next afternoon. Do you think that the GM/Front Desk mgr(s) were "ducking" and that's why they were never there to take our complaints? Do you think that if the "resort" is short staffed that the GM ought to be at the front desk and cleaning rooms? Don't want to hear the "Covid" excuse when GM is too lazy to work. GM could have been handing out towels, in-room coffee, retrieving trash, issuing credits. No credits offered. Expedia won't credit either. No more Expedia bookings by us.
