Home away from home

I got to the hotel at 12:46, I was tired and frustrated and I also forgot check in was not until 3:00pm, well the observant young lady at the front counter saw that I was done in so she asked me to wait a minute and took off. When she got back she said she found a clean room that matched my reservation and when ahead and checked my in ! Now that is going above and beyond for your guest. it was clean, quiet, and relaxing the bed was amazing!

Not so happy with this hotel

The first room we got was very smelly so we had to change rooms, couldn't get in the room and had to have assistance. When we finically got in the room was never cleaned ( we didn't check in till after 5pm). So we got a third room which was just ok. The pool heater was broke so we couldn't swim, the water and dryer were down and when room was being serviced we were told we could not have any clean towels to replace the dirty ones they took. Did get more from the front desk that evening when we complained. Over all not run very well at all.

Overpriced given the condition

The room is clean but a bit dated. The bathroom door made a loud sound when swinging. The table is uneven from water damage. There is no coffee machine in the room. The breakfast has prepackaged muffins and some bars. It is pricy for the condition and the quality.

Close to the airport

Pros: Close to the airport
Cons: General cleanliness, kitchen utensils, breakfast.
Sink drains in both bathroom and kitchen apparently plugged, took minutes to drain. Dirty carpet. Unpleasant odors. Full kitchen, but nothing furnished to use it. No full complimentary breakfast. No screens on window. Nasty deposit of some kind on the bathroom sink. We paid the same rate for the Princess Lodge in GlenAllen, and the accommodations were much nicer. We wouldn't stay with you again...

After staying in cargo van, this was great!

Pros: see above
Cons: 2 chairs at the table for eating.
Location: We had a nice hike to Angle Rock. Bring your bug spray if doing the loop.
Not a luxury hotel (bring your own hair dryer), but it met our needs perfectly. Washers and dryers were half the price of those at camp grounds. Kitchenette allowed us to cool down food in the nearly full-size refrigerator and clean out the cooler. Only one chair at the table, but the other chair was a recliner (nice for a little nap). After using an air mattress and sleeping bag, the bed was wonderful. Grab and go breakfast was minimal - coffee and bars - it worked for us.
