Great staff, nice facility, clean rooms and reasonably priced. Decent bang for the buck.

Second time stay at this place. Very nice view. Do NOT recommend dog sledding here, because they charged $60 for a 5mins ride (which they say should be 15mins) and the data sledding staff were rude.

I wasn’t aware that we had to pay 300 dollars extra for a deposit What if I didn’t have that in my account I would have been screwed

My stay at Sophie Station was fantastic. The room was well appointed and had pretty much everything you needed. This hotel is very basic and dated, and in need of an update/upgrade - definitely nothing special. Sleep quality was not good, and there was no water pressure OR hot water - those are the most important factors for me, and ordinarily low scores in those areas would be enough to earn a hotel a "terrible" ...

The perfect place for viewing Northern lights!! The family is amazing & accommodating & sweet!! It was amazing to see the lights & the beautiful location & comfy lodging is unsurpassed!! THIS is the place you are looking for..enjoy!!

Quiet room until neighbors checked in. Wall are thin. Bathroom fan extremely noisy. Closet doors removed but track still in place.

The Bear Lodge was excellent. The front desk staff was extremely helpful especially Marico and Danielle. They really are a credit to the lodge for customer service. We were very pleased with the friendly staff and the room was large and very clean.

Very NICE!! It really felt like we had the cabin all to our self, and the owner Ms. Tammie was so sweet and very knowledgeable about any questions we had. The cabin was in an ideal location not for from town but just for enough out of the town lights to get GREAT pictures of the Aurora!!

Great location. Out of the city but not remote. The cabin is as it looks in the pictures, very cute and homey. No other way to stay in Fairbanks but in a real cabin. I had a great trip to Fairbanks because I got lucky with my stay at 9th Ave hostal. I got lucky because the other guests staying there were all amazing and I made many new friendships here! Cozy atmosphere in the living room. Pretty good room and bed. good wifi. Good host (Cho!)

was a beautiful place i wish the people were more social but then not everybody is but the place was beautiful had a good time cooking thank you for the use of cooking utensils.

We booked this cabin with not much time to spare, I'd cancelled at another hotel because they'd discounted the rates for off season would not honor that rate for those of us who booked in advance. This is the second time we have stayed at the Nottingham house. It didn't disappoint us. Bill kept the road plowed and the walkway shovled. House stays toasty warm. I would not even look for another place to stay on our next visit to Fairbanks. It feels like home away from home.
