Charming place; excellent and cooperative staff.Posted Aug 31, 2015
Theses are primarily cute cabins with big hanging baskets filled with flowers. The rooms are cute with good beds and a coffee maker in the room. No refrigerator alas. The restaurant is very good and popular. Reservations recommended unless you want to hang out in the bar with a drink which is not too bad. I wish they also had coffee in their lobby and I spent several hours there. The staff did give us hot water and tea making stuff instead. Some cabins are right by the river which would probably be best. Our's was not but was nice.

The cabins are mostly near parking so no view but they are quiet. The staff is very helpful.

Pros: Friendly staff and clean rooms.
Cons: Install elevator

Stayed one night. It was pleasant. Didn't try the hotel restaurant so don't know about the food. Check in was quick and painless.

Cute cottages and close to airport.Posted Aug 10, 2015
Location: Near the airport.
We enjoyed our stay and the cottages were adorable. Bed was comfortable and room clean. We needed to put a couple of ice packs in the freezer for our lunch the next day but rooms do not have refrigerators. Staff was helpful and allowed us to use a hotel freezer. Would stay here again if ever in Fairbanks again.

Nice hotel with great access to area attractionsPosted Aug 3, 2015
Pros: The restaurant was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was nicely appointed.
Location: Near airport with easy access to downtown Fairbanks for museums, shopping and restaurants.
Hotel room was nice and clean. We travelled with friends and had adjoining rooms with shared patio which was great for sitting outside in warm weather. Hotel did have problem with hot water boiler the morning of our check out so shower was tepid. Hotel staff was very apologetic and explained that repair was underway. Food at the hotel restaurant was amazing!

First experience staying in a cottage.Posted Jul 3, 2015
This being our first time staying in a cottage we had a very nice time. The amenities which we would of liked to of had would of been a mini fridge, iron and ironing board. All and all would definitely stay here again

Looking for Something DifferentPosted Jun 25, 2015
When I was planning my trip to Alaska, I originally chose another lodging. I was trying to avoid the endless string of soulless chains. And while my first choice met my criteria (barely), I changed my mind and took a chance on the River's Edge. These cottages are older. However, they are *immaculately* maintained. And the grounds are lovely. This made for one of the most restful nights on a very long trip. I would certainly stay here again and would recommend the place to anyone looking for something more substantive than bad contemporary decor.

Very noisyPosted Jun 25, 2015
We checked in and got the room next to the highway. Noise from trucks can be clearly heard from our room.
