The walls are made of paper….we stayed two separate times at this hotel. 1st time we had to listen to love making…luckily it didn’t last long, but the talking did. The Second time there was an ordinary conversation by a couple that we could hear while we could not sleep for 3 hours…yes, we yelled back 3 times and they were quiet for 10 minutes each time. Staff was great earlier, breakfast was better than most, but we could hear highway traffic even after the neighbors finally went to bed. Sorry, I’m still tired.

Hotel itself was clean. The walls are very thin and at one point, at 11 am, the neighbors next door having their afternoon delight, were so loud that we had to turn up the TV so our kids didn’t hear. We went down to breakfast at 9:40 and there was no more hot food, bread or coffee. We let the front desk know and they had someone make another pot of coffee and warm a few eggs. The thermostat kept showing an error message. The room itself was clean and happy there was parking onsite

Very clean property. The rooms were very large and had a mini fridge and microwave that I always appreciate. Able to walk to Starbucks which was nice so I did not have to Uber.

Hotel was clean and safe. Walls are very thin expect to hear walking and toilets flushing. Had to sign a noise agreement even though the hotel wouldn’t meet current noise canceling requirements. They seem to want to blame the customers for the deficient construction of the building

The parking garage is under the hotel and has surveillance cameras. It was nice to go from the garage to our hallway. employee's are very professional.

The staff had great customer service. Had a difficult time sleeping as you can hear every noise through the walls. I was not a fan of the parking to check in as you had no where to really park if you had to big of a vehicle and the parking for guests was under the building and had to have a key to access elevator.

Could not get the tv to work in the room. Asked the desk attendant 3 times to give us assistance. Toilet was broken. Attendant tried to fix it, but couldn’t. Hesitant to move us to a different room because we booked the room on Hotels.com. I finally said, “ what’s the difference who I booked through, we do not have a working toilet or tv!” Very disappointed.

Staff and breakfast were great. Room was clean and OK. Walls were pretty thin and you could hear snoring from next door. Further, upon getting off the elevator at 8 PM, there were loud female sex sounds up and down the hallway and could be heard from our room after we closed the door. Not that we’re complaining, but later we heard bathroom noises which were not acceptable.

Good hotel in Benicia.
The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was friendly. The gym could use some updated equipment. The walls are paper thin. Forget about trying to rest during the day. Vacuums are super loud and everyone in our hall would slam their door shut. We also asked a couple times to have our room done while we were out & it didn’t get done, which was disappointing. All this being said, we would stay here again. The hotel just needs to make minor improvements - like the gym equipment, more prompt housekeeping and keeping noise to a minimum. We loved the covered parking with elevator access directly to our floor.

The front Desk staff was super friendly and helpful. The staff at the breakfast bar was also very helpful and always had a smile on their face, ready and willing to assist. This hotel will definitely be our to go hotel when we come to Benicia to visit our daughter.

The property was well-maintained. The bed and pillows were really comfortable. We stayed on a Sunday night and found it to be really noisy first thing Monday morning because our room was facing the street and it was garbage day. Enjoyed the free breakfast and coffee.

This property was all fine but there is too much single use plastic. There could be glasses and cups in the rooms and for breakfast there could be china plates and real cutlery. It's bad for the environment.

Mediocre at best. Holiday Inn seems worn out...
Bads: Carpet was coming apart on some areas and looked old. Large crack in the bathroom. Garage looks run old and dirty. Found food in the refrigerator. King bed seemed a little smal. Old and worn couches. Directions to room is wrong. Goods: Breakfast had some healthy choices yet edible for the most part. Some of the staff was nice and will greet you. Affordable. Overall, Mediocre at best. Holiday Inn seems worn out these days and will probably be my last time booking at one after the last experience was a 1 star.

Passing through Benicia
Friendly desk staff for checkin with ice tea and cookies. The room was clean and just what we needed for one night passing through Benicia. Not much in walking distance. We picked up food from the bar a block away, but could eat there with kids. The included breakfast had something for everyone.
