Small but affordable

Pros: Staff was friendly, room was comfortable.
Cons: Beds were VERY hard. No need for Memory foam, but $100 walmart special wasn't a good fit.
Location: A bit out of the way, but only 15 minutes from 6 flags.
Sheets had no stains, but found hair and dirt under the pillows. Probably hadn't been washed in a while (due to disuse). Staff was very professional and had no issue checking in or out. A/C worked PERFECTLY (110 degree day). Had construction going, but the crew was very courteous and didn't use machinery before 10 am. Paid $88 for 1 night and was not let down. Expected to see some issues as it isn't the Hilton. Overall I was satisfied.

Not like room

This room was not clean. The toilet was stopped up the bedding was not clean and there was something on the floor. The carpet was nasty and stuff was sticking to the bottom of my shoe

Smoke smell and not as advertised.

Pros: The staff were kind enough to refund our money.
Cons: Online description needs to be more honest. Bathrooms and beds need updated!
The non-smoke room smelled smokey, the beds were terrible, the bathroom needs maintained, and the overall quality of the room did not match the pictures and description on the website.

Pictures and description on website are misleading

Pros: The staff.
Cons: Online pictures need to be more honest. Bathroom and flooring need updated!
The staff was nice. The facility is very old and poorly maintained. The bed was terrible. The room smelled bad.

Not clean, really dirty and bad smell

Cons: everything, principally the cleanness and smoke smell. Having rooms without smoke smell.
Location: good.
It was bad experience. I have stayed in other Travelodge before, but this one is terrible. So dirty, the rooms smell cigars smoke. I have asked to changed room because of my kids and the room was little better regarding the smoke smell. But dirty as the same. The bed clothes and towels are old , but really old. with cigars spots everywhere. The phone was broken.

The room it is not cleaned and with smoke smell

Pros: nothing
Cons: everything. First, if they allow their guests to smoke , they should be clear for who do not smoke. second, clean the room better and fix the smoke
Location: it is good located.
Never go there if you have opportunity to go to any other. The smoke smell is terrible and floor is not cleaned. so, you should be aware that is only for 1 or two nights maximum just in case you were not able to get anything better.

nasty

the room was dirty, outdated and smelled of stale sweat and marijuana. Staff at front desk was rude.

Needs Major Overhaul

I hate to leave negative reviews but our hotel stay was not good. Initially when we got there it seemed like a very cute place kind of a lodge like atmosphere with grape vines growing around the property. When we got to the lobby the staff was very nice and helpful and got us a room key very quickly. Our first room was so dirty that I told the kids to keep their shoes on and not walk barefoot around the room. The bedspreads had rips and cigarette burns through out, the curtains were falling off of the windows and had unidentifiable stains all over. The room reeked of cigarette smoke and weed. With my husband having asthma there was no way we could stay in that room. We did have them change our rooms to one of their newly renovated rooms. The carpet was still very dirty, the drapes were very gross and falling off but it did not smell like cigarettes and had been newly painted. So it was better than the other one. The set up of the rooms is very odd. Both of the beds are in the same room with sort of a half wall that cuts it off from the area where the refrigerator and television are. The TV is across the other end of the room and with the way the beds are situated, one of the beds is cut off from the TV so not everyone could watch. Then you have to turn it up very loudly to hear it due to where it's located in conjunction with the beds. The pillows are paper thin so I would suggest bringing your own. The bathrooms were very clean and again the staff was very helpful
