Double charged for mediocre

Everything was just ok. Our room was fine. Bathroom could use some updating. Breakfast was ok, but attendant could not keep up as it was very busy. Two people behind Checkin were chatting ... One appeared to be a manager. Would have been nice if they jumped in and helped clean tables, stock silverware, etc. only major problem was that we were charged for the room twice -- once through hotels.com and once through the hotel. Was told I would be reimbursed in 5-7 business days. Unacceptable for me to have to wait when they took my money so quickly.

Waited 5 minutes for someone to show up at front desk to check us in, no bell to ring just had to stand and wait. Went though lobby 5 or 6 times and there was never anyone at the desk. When I mentioned upon check out I was told because of small staff they could only have 1 person at desk so they were probably taking care of other things however when I checked out on Sunday there were 5 at the desk? The rooms advertised are not offered, and the juice machine was broken. Pool is open long hours if you can get a key to work in the door or find that 1 employee on duty.

Missing Customer Service

Waited at the front desk for 15 minutes before finally having to call the hotel to tell them I was there. Bed was lumpy and mattress was in terrible shape. Shower wouldn't drain and had hair around it before being used. Not a very clean, friendly hotel. The area is great however with lots of dining options.
