This place needs to have a health inspector sent here ASAP!! I didn't expect anything but a clean room and that was not the case!! Blood on curtain, white nasty stains on the chair and couch, smelled like bug spray, floor looks like it hadn't ben cleaned in 3 weeks...It was dirt and some white flaky stuff in the bed.. Just horrible I want my money back!! I booked via expedia and not they are avoiding their calls to avoid approving the refund request, per an email I got from expedia... These rooms all need to be demolished and rebuilt its so nasty...The couch was peeling and old.. Avoid this place unless you want to be disgusted because pictures are misleading. Not sure how they are allowed to even be open with rooms this disgusting...I took pictures and shared them with the front desk...Gross Excuse for a hotel...And shame on expedia for having a nasty company on their website with misleading pictures..Remove them off your site and refund your loyal customers especially when they have pictures

It was 8 bugs in my room and she put me in a new room that had more bugs! I went to a 3rd room that had one bug but they said I couldnt get a refund.

The property was just OK for what we paid. The lobby was very old looking so I was nervous about how my room would look. Honestly, it looked better than I thought however, I was not able to get any rest. Someone got the room next to us around 1030, and from 1030 to about 2:30 AM they played the music very loudly, I went to the front desk to complain and he said he would take care of it but he did not because I waited at the door to see if he would. I probably would not stay there again because I don’t like the fact that the situation was not handled .

Smelled clean upon check in, looked descent in the lobby. Front desk was very nice and accommodating. However the property needs to be updated. The room was half clean and didn't smell but had dead stink bugs in/on the AC/Heat unit when I pulled the curtain back. This is literally a one night stop and sleep. Not made for a long stay.

Heat did not work well but staff tried to help. Condition of building going down hill. Some areas covered in brown tape to match paint instead of painting. Room had strange odor. Beds hard and not comfortable. No receipt. Next trip will upgrade to nicer facility. Few choices on cold breakfast bar.

Appreciated an area outside I could smoke. Check-in was quick. Carpet in room did not make my socks black. No sign of bedbugs (checked apon entry) Only downside I saw was the mattress liners need to be cleaned that is under the fitter sheets. Overall -good stay for a good rate.

Prior to making my reservation, I contacted the property and asked if they had a handicap accessible room because my husband is in a wheelchair. The person I spoke to said yes to go ahead and reserve the room and she would flag it when she received it. When we arrived at our room, the wheelchair barely fit into the room because of furniture placement. The bathroom had room for the wheelchair once you maneuvered into the bathroom. The biggest issue was the tub. Typically a wheelchair accessible bathroom has a walk-in /roll-in shower. I went to the front desk and told the clerk that checked us in that we were supposed to have a handicap room. She said we did. When I brought up the tub, she stated all of the handicap rooms have tubs but they have handicap bars. She was very nice and very apologetic but that didn't help my husband to get a shower. This was our first trip (for one night only) in over 5 years. At this point it was 10pm and we didn't really have any choice but to stay since we were checked in and the room was non-refundable. It wasn't a good experience. As far as my overall review, smoking is supposed to be a certain distance away from doors and an employee propped the door open with a rock while they smoked right outside and the smoke was in the hallways & the butts were on the sidewalk. The breakfast area was "sticky" and not well maintained (especially the waffle machine). We previously stayed here and had good experiences, but not this time.

Very disappointed. 1st room the toilet didn't want ro flush and rhey had no rooms to switch. Woke up in the early morning to find roaches on the night stand. Went to desk and had to wait to morning crew came in. Finally after that was able to get to a different room but this room needed alot of tlc bed spread had cigarette type holes in it in a non smoking room and the room just had a odd smell. The base trim in the room by door was about to fall off. Property didnt offer any discount because i booked online. I have stayed here several time with no issues. I over jeard housekeeping tell the front desk work that Manager was aware of the bug problem over 3 weeks ago and hadn't done anything.

The sheets had old blood stains on it. We had a roach in our room. (Have videos of roach). Rooms needs to be cleaner, very dusty. Sheets were inside out as well.

This is a very good budget hotel. It was perfect for my one-night stay in the Fairview Heights area. The nearby St. Clair mall provides very good shopping along with some other strip centers in the area. Just down the street, St. Clair antique mall was also fun to visit. The room contained a small refrigerator and microwave to go with the coffee maker. The flatscreen tv also provided lots of cable entertainment options. Best of all, though was the quality of the pillows and bedding provided. They went a long way in helping me sleep well there. Even the continental breakfast was nice with a perfect Belgian waffle and juice plus a cinnamon-raisin bagel for the road. It was an excellent stay and a great value.

I was in room 302and i asked the front desk agent did they have an issue wuth bugs and he told me no. Naybe anout 2 hours later there was a roach crawling on the chair. It baffled me bcux i literzjudt asked him andddd thry dudbt put me in another room n told me they couldn't compensate me for it. I will NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!!

Pleasantly surprised!
This hotel had some negative reviews but it was convenient for my needs. I was pleasantly surprised! The a/c worked great and the room was nice & cool when I walked in which was very much appreciated, since it was it was over 100° outside! Comfortable bed & pillows. Great shower pressure. It wasn’t noisy. These are all things that I find important!
