Beautiful peaceful setting in a small village. We had issues with a self centered employee who was inconsiderate and offensive.

We only stayed at the Hotel Cobut one night on our whirlwind trip of the Benelux countries but it was a very enjoyable stay. The owners are super friendly and accommodating. The hotel has its own restaurant and the food was very good. The hotel is in a somewhat rural area that is really picturesque.

I chose to stay at this traditional hotel in the Ardennes area because of the beautiful location - I think that this area has sadly been overlooked by tourists of late as the hotel was very quiet - so much so that the hotel is currently up for sale

Amazing and Friendly Staff
Nice little hidden hotel in rural Belgium. The hotel has a lot of history but is a little tired. The amazing staff more than make up for some of the inequities. We really enjoyed our time there and would recommend it as a solid budget/value hotel for an overnight in the area.

Room basic Service excellent.
The hotel is 160 years old. The room was very basic just small beds a wardrobe and a sink. Shared bathroom down the hall. No TV no maid service but does have free wifi. Downstairs was a nice restaurant and bar. The hotel is in a lovely wooded river valley with another bar and restaurant across the street. The owners were wonderful and did everything they could to make the stay a nice one. The only draw back was the very bare bones room. I enjoyed the stay.

Climbing in beautiful scenery
Wilma and Henny are brilliant hosts always keen to get to know people and to make your stay as comfortable as possible. So it is easy to get the feeling of beeing home. Even the amazing pasta around 10pm was done freshly with passion and love. Scenery is breathtaking - in the middle of nowhere - surrounded by little castles and nature, we will definetly come back. Thanks again for making our vaction so nice.

Hotel Cobut-a quiet place near Namur
This hotel was in the mountains near Namur, reminded us of the Smoky Mountains in North Carolina. It was very clean, quiet and the host was very friendly and helpful. His wife was the chef and she would have cooked us dinner (we were the only guests-this was the off-season) but we chose to drive into Namur. Breakfast was wonderful-the Dutch/Belgium breakfast with lots of choices. If you have a car, this place is worth a visit. The hotel is old but clean and has a long history in the area.

Friendly and helpful host. Ideal place for visiting this part of the Ardennes, with lots of castles, scenery and beautiful rivers nearby. A must is the rail cylce opposite the hotel - great fun for all ages

Het was even schrikken toen we bij aankomst de borden "Te Koop" zagen, maar de uitbaters (eigenaars) waren heel vriendelijk. De accommodatie zelf was, hoewel enigszins gedateerd, toch zeer netjes. Al bij al een prettig verblijf gehad.

Een nacht verbleven op zakenreis. Snel internet. Supervriendelijke mensen. Geen grote luxe, maar verwacht je dat dan voor deze prijs? Mensen doen echt hun best om het naar je zin te maken. Wat ik hier lees over het ontbijt klopt niet... het is meer dan voldoende, en behoorlijk uitgebreid, zeker als je bedenkt dat het inbegrepen is.

Hotel pour passer une nuit. Nous avons pu dormir. POINT Le petit dejeuner soit disant gratuit ne l'est pas. 10 euros par personne. Nous n'y retournerons pas.

Et meget hyggeligt og charmerende hotel med rigtig god, hurtig og personlig betjening, beliggende i utroligt naturskønne omgivelser. Gratis wifi fungerede optimalt og morgenmaden var god med et stort udvalg.

Wij kwamen hier om te wandelen met onze hond. Hond was erg welkom. Aardige eigenaren en personeel. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Leuke kamer, goede bedden en lekker eten.

De ontvangst was vriendelijk en spontaan. De kamer was gerenoveerd en had een ruime badkamer. Ontbijt was bescheiden maar voldoende. Een aanrader voor wandelaars, fietsers en motorrijders.Ga nog zeker eens terug

Mooie omgeving, super ontbijt. De grootste verrassing ligt achter het hotel: parkachtige tuin met een kabbelend beekje waar je heerlijk tot rust komt. Niemand komt daar dus heerlijk privé

Visste inte riktig vad som väntade när vi bokade rum på detta hotellet och än värre kändes det när det låg mitt ute i skogen, men... välkomnandet var varmt, rummet trevligt med fantastiskt badrum. Maten var utsökt och servicen bättre än förväntad.

Een tegenvaller op heel veel vlakken. Het hotel is dringend aan renovatie toe, de bedden zijn oncomfortabel, de netheid (ook in het restaurant) laat veel te wensen over, de menukaart heeft weinig te bieden. Kortom, een povere bedoening. Overtuigd van de goede bedoelingen van de uitbaters doch dat is niet voldoende. De naam 'hotel' is hier niet op zijn plaats. Fawlty Towers in Falaen...

Hôtel vieillot avec des commodités non terminées: bac de douche glissant, aucun crochet d'attache près du lavabo, aucun emplacement pour le savon...moquette sale...je me demande si l'électricité est totalement respectueuse des normes...même si les propriétaires sont accueillants, le prix n'est pas en rapport avec l'état des lieux...Cet hôtel ne mérite qu'une étoile.

Wir waren 3 Tage in diesem Hotel, wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben, was leider nicht möglich war, Zimmer sind O.K. Frühstück super, als Zwischenstop oder Kurzurlaub geeignet, die Besitzer sind super nett.

Hyggelig opplevelse på Hotel Cobut
Førsteinntrykket av hotellet var at det var gammelt, men i god stand.Ble møtt av meget serviceinnstilte eiere av hotellet. De laget middag til oss selv om klokken hadde blitt 22:00. Frokosten var også helt nydelig, servert grytidlig til ønsket tid.
