Idyllic and relaxing getaway cottage

Gorgeous and relaxing location in walking distance of adorable town. We loved this place! Pluses: Very responsive manager. Beautiful light-filled studio! Nice patio. Minuses: Parking is a bit far from cottage and there is no path. Be aware that cottage is behind house in front! Signage could be better/more clear. Also no real separation between house and cottage yards, so potential noise/privacy issues. Cottage could also use a coffee table and some hooks and a shelf for toiletries in the bathroom. Hot water takes awhile to heat up for shower. However the lake is just steps away and very beautiful. Not sure if you can swim/kayak in it, but if so that would also be a big plus!

Perfect for couples getaway

Perfect spot right off of the main strip. Property managers were great and were very responsive to txts and emails. The place had a wonderful view of the lake and the inside was gorgeous. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a long weekend away!

Great location! Easy to get to downtown, bus stop, beach, pond. Very cute cottage. There is a "pull out" couch but it was awkward. The bed is very comfortable. The kitchen needed a few more utensils. Air conditioner worked great. Lovely pond in the back yard. Overall, a very pleasant guesthouse.

Perfect location, lovely space, good communication just a few tweaks needed.

The property was very lovely and in a perfect location with access to the lake and also walking distance from main street Falmouth. There are two beds. I was traveling with my teen-aged children, two of us shared a bed and size-wise it was perfect for what we needed. It was mostly great, however there were a couple things I did not love and would request a few tweaks before booking again. Our reservation was for 3 ppl but there wasn't 3 sets of silverware/dishes etc.so we had to take turns eating. There was a roach one day on the pull-out couch bed when I pulled back the covers. The owner was responsive and apologetic and explained that it was an anomaly, which I can understand. However it was still a significant inconvenience to experience that and no compensation or refund was offered, while my $250 deposit is being held for weeks after my stay even if other people stay there immediately after, which I do not understand or appreciate. Check in and out was a little bit confusing as there were no directions for check-in on VRBO and two different times for check out. However the owners are very kind and responsive to questions via phone, email and direct message in the app which was great. I would absolutely stay here again with a few tweaks.

Lovely Stay

Lovely accommodations at this adorable guesthouse! Perfect for a couples getaway trip. The location of the guesthouse is the perfect walking distance to Main Street, Falmouth or the beach. The pond setting is beautiful and quiet. Would have even more amazing to have a canoe or kayak available to explore along the pond... We fell in love with Falmouth and will definitely return. Thank you!
