Sports-minded Traveler for Wrestling at Fargo Dome

I would say, this hotel was "a diamond in the rough". I drove around it twice wondering if I should stay there. The outside isn't so good to look at, but the inside is. The parking lot & outside could use a remake, but not at the expense of the work inside. The courtyard has shaded places to sit, flowers and with a pool, a perfect oasis a great place to stay. Even too for any "bad weather"; I felt this hotel was a safe place to stay. We had some heavy storms close-by with 70mph wind, I wouldn't have known. I felt good staying here for 6 nights!!! The hallways enclosed yet visible outside from your room gave me options. If I needed to have a dark room to sleep I had it, if I needed to have more sunlight room, I could have it. If I wanted to use the attached bar/restaurant I had it. With a short walk,~ <100' was a Simonson gas station with all groceries I could want. I could walk a little further & find some souvenirs at another place. If I wanted to work-out, I could; I used both pools & the hot tub. My car was parked close by, just the way I like it. I would stay at the Biltmore again, if I were to come to Fargo, ND again. The location was perfect for access to the Fargo Dome and NDSU. The neighborhood wasn't much with car lots and highway, but just a short drive, <10 minutes was the West Acres Mall & anything else, a traveler would want. I loved the location, the bed was terrific, breakfast was helpful, the pools were awesome & my safety was "key" for me!
