Hi BarbaraThanks for your review.Actually, a NEW ELAVATOR is coming this summer 2024!I hope you noticed the large plastic wrapped encasement just off the lobby with the signs saying a new elevator is coming soon!We have been working on the construction of the elevator shaft for a month now. Hopefully after finished with the shaft construction, the elevator will be installed soon after.This expensive addition is being done on the decision of the owner and paid by him as well.We have done so many upgrades and we continue to do so. JosephI am sorry to hear you had an issue the the AC.I don't have a good answer as your room was the only issue reported. Perhaps the employee did not correctly set the dial is all I can think.I wish I knew what room this was for so I could go check it myself.

Thanks for your review Lisa.Just FYI, we have 5 hot tubs, a pool and a baby pool at the hotel, like no other hotel around.We are replacing hot tubs as we speak, the first one is being prepped for replacement and therefore out of order temporarily. During the evening you spoke of, for testing and adjustments we had another hot tub closed while we waited for chemicals to correct. It was back in service for the evening.I was at the hotel all night, and only one hot tub was being used during the chemical test during that time.There were 3 hot tubs open during the testing of the other spa.Its nice that we have so many hot tubs that when one is down we have others available to use. We have different room styles available, some bigger, some smaller, depending on what is desired.

Deborah,As I always start out, I advise people to read all reviews, especially as we have so many excellent reviews. We have guests for many reasons that take issue on something(s).And as you started your review with other peoples circumstances and reasons for my rebuttals (and clarifications of mis statements, I do not attack, but some may feel that way, but I always clarify what I say. Reviews should be based on your experience, not how you feel about other guest reviews and or replies to them. Reviews can be considered attacks as well when they are not accurate, as are some items in this review.That said lets, look at your review.We have one of the best hotels in the area! The most recent review after yours was 5 of 5 great stay!Some of your comments are opinion based, which is why I think reviews are a weak link to others as misguiding advice. I always say, try for yourself, especially with all the great reviews from past guests.Carpet is cleaned professionally very often, and the carpet is fairly new, maybe you didn't like the look of the carpet our decorator chose?I assure the carpets are great, and the public area carpets were replaced 2 years ago and are beautiful.Another mis-statement, our bathrooms have fans, they are silent, in the bathroom ceiling in the corner, and are an ALWAYS ON fan. hold the tissue to it and it sucks it upward! Toilet paper is a premium style from our paper supply company. No one else I can remember has said negative about it in 9 years.TV if it stopped is a fluke, or human error hitting a wrong button on the remote. Easily fixable. But maybe you didn't call staff for help. We have Midco fiber optic Cable in house.The water was not shut off without warning. For an item dealing with the elevator it had to be shut off for a short time. We told all guests we could get ahold of about the water shutting down, and didn't shut down until the late checkout time of Noon. We wanted to ensure guests had time to shower before departures and be ready for the day.We consider ourselves, along with our returning guest's years after year, to be the best choice in Fargo. My intent is not to attack you but inform yourself and other readers of many mis-representation in a review.

TabathaFirst of all, I hope you enjoyed the beautiful hotel we have! Secondly, the construction, which affected no one on the weekend as they were not working on it, IS FOR THE PEOPLE WITH MOBILITY ISSUES! THIS IS GREAT NEWS!There was no need to say anything about the construction as it was not an issue to anything or anyone this weekend! NO issue at all.Construction is the way to add great things, and even when in progress, there is never a good time as people will have issues.We are ADDING a NEW elevator that we have never had in 30 years. AND at the decision of the owner as we are grandfathered and not required to do this expensive project. But for our guests we are doing this.Third, you would have to pay more to be on the main floor due to location of rooms, not because of Expedia reservation! Fourth, if this was a problem, most people would simply seek to leave and go to another property with an elevator. But I agree, I would want to stay at this beautiful hotel as well!

NickSorry you didn't enjoy our more than beautiful Hotel!So many repeat guests comment how great our facility and how impressed they are with the outstanding staff that helps make our hotel stand out.This hotel is a hidden gem (as said by many guests) as we are not a major known franchise cookie cutter type hotel with our huge, wooded courtyard with 7 bodies of water and one of the best complimentary breakfast in the area.Please check out our hotel and see how different and beautiful it is.

Deanna,Thank You!Unfortunately to make improvements sometimes construction has to happen and its never a good time.The noise of construction was 2 days and we made sure only from 10-4 so it was 10-12 hours straight. Thankfully it's over and by July we should have an elevator for the first time ever! Thats the best part of the noise issue.We are constantly thriving to make a better C'mon Inn for future stays!Thank You for your patience during the construction.

LizzyWe had no complaints by any other of our 700 plus guests this weekend about chlorine smell issue and staff relayed no issues with chlorine smell as well.In fact its funny you mentioned it, but we had a family reunion that was in the meeting room yesterday and today, took pictures in the lobby area, and made no mention to staff of the chlorine issue.Everyone has different tolerances to chlorine, some worse than others.Our pool and spa test were compliant to city regulations as well.Your right, we do have a beautiful hotel and facility.We are full every weekend with past guests and new alike that also comment on how scenic the courtyard is with the open atrium and wooded areas of trees. And yes the 7 bodies of water like no other hotel! This hotel is a gem, please come visit for yourself and judge.

Renee,Thanks for the nice review.If that is the only issue, it was easily resolved by asking the front desk for a desk lamp. Not sure why there was not one in your room. It may have been broken and not brought to my attention to replace right away. We will look for a room without a light on the desk and take care of immediately.Thanks again.

When some react to pool chemical, most did not.We try to keep the bodies of water at the required levels by state and city, while still comfortable for all.

DarleneSorry to hear about the tub filling.We do However have 4 hot tubs open to use by all guests. You simply could have moved to another tub that was hot.

CourtneySorry to hear about your suit. We had no other issues with the 400-500 guests we had this weekend with swim wear or the hot tubs chemicals.Different suit materials act differently to chemical's as well.

JayThanks for your review.As this is a weather related item and not so much a review of the hotel, I appreciate your concern about ice as related to the parking lot.We shovel and salt constantly, but with melting and refreezing as is going on now it is hard to keep up with mother nature. Our sidewalks are white with salt residue as well. As our signs say its icy, walk like a penguin, this is good advice everywhere we go.We will continue to monitor and take action as appropriate.Thanks again for staying with us!

Thank You!We continually and consistently update and renovate to the hotel to keep it fresh and current. While we did renovate guestrooms, the bathrooms are next when we do guestrooms again.New guestroom dressers, TV's and mini fridges were recently installed last month. We are now finishing up installing 67 exterior windows to help with energy savings and sound!! New hot tubs for the courtyard arrive soon, and the NEW elevator should be installed and finished around May/June.More to come as well!Thanks for staying with us and we will see you on your next visit!

As usual these things are relative. Most people love the beds and never say the walls are thin.In fact, the next review after this, talks about how quiet things were even though we were full as usual.As manager, I stay frequently so I am current at experiencing things guests also do, and I never find an issue with such things. I never hear any noise inside or out. So again, stay and judge for yourself how great this hotel is.

I am calling this post BS......and FALSE!We have a great hotel!! there is no damage!I think Martha has had a mental breakdown. Maybe she had a bad night. See all the other reviews, one most recent calls the hotel beautiful. and it is!The breakfast is huge and free and sooo many items.I hate that Expedia allows people to comment, because of false posts like this!!

I am sorry to hear you fell in ice.It is that darn time of year in the midwest, melt, freeze, repeat over and over. We do spread ice melt where we can, but the ice is everywhere.Its like black ice on the highway, hard to see, but we know its there.Everyone, as our signs say, its icy outside, please walk like a penguin!

Thank You for the review, which on the outside you give us a great 4 out of 5, but then follow up by slamming us a bit.See other reviews as well. We run a fantastic hotel with so many great amenities, unlike most hotels.Our staff are always around, but if you sleep in you may not see them all. We staff more employees per shift than most hotels!We do stock breakfast well and efficiently. we have 2 staff helping on breakfast as needed, and the front desk as well.When staff instruct you at check-in that breakfast is from 6-9:30 that means it closes at 9:30 (and the signs at the front desk and in the breakfast also has a sign with the hours as well). Please don't shoot the workers if in fact you choose to sleep in. That is acceptable to do, just don't blame the staff for being late.Also, by the way breakfast on weekends is until 10am.
