Door to our room didn’t work and trim around many doors was banged up and or broken. Kids were allowed to ransack the property while parents were out drinking. Once parents came back they were yelling down the halls like their children did. Someone’s car alarm went off in parking lot waking up everyone in early morning. No breakfast in hotel.

Could use some updates for the price. Rooms are not soundproof as stated in description. With all the hotels in fargo I will look elsewhere on next visit.

Great location
Hotel was a great 3 day pit stop for the Holidays. Had room a room for us to stay in and bring our dog! Also so close to everything such as bouldering gym and mall.

Great place to stay!
We have stayed here a few times and enjot it. We love that the pool has a separate little kids area. The pool was nice and warm! My only complaint is they are not having breakfast anymore.

The property is old although it's kept clean. We stayed on the 3rd floor and smelled like pot. The pool is shared with The Red Roof Inn and the hot tub jets didn’t work. The continental breakfast is very limited as other reviewers have stated.

I booked the suite with the separate bedroom. Room was very small compared to the other hotels I stayed in during my trip but the cost was more. I was also charged more than what Expedia had said when I reserved the room.

Rest assured I did look into the expedia reservation and you were charged exactly what your confirmation would had shown you during the booking process.

Smelled awful 😖
The staff was great. The room not so much the bathroom smelled terrible like animal pee. Its a good thing we didnt spend much time in the room because the smell was very overwhelming. I couldnt get a bew room because they were all booked up. There was a plastic bag over the smoke detector in the room. I have pictures but wont let me add them.

Complimentary breakfast was disappointing, two waffle machines no other options other than a limited selection of pastries. I have stayed at other Main Stay hotels and expected much more than what we got, a glorified continental breakfast.

Mainstay as a brand has eliminated breakfast however we choose to continue to offer this service for our guests. Suite with 2 queen beds was great, plenty of room for three of us. Beds were comfy which was key as we were in town to run in the marathon. Basic breakfast, could have offered more. Special shout out to the girl working the front desk in the mornings, she was super-nice and helpful, that always goes a long way to making a stay more enjoyable!

Front desk staff was gracious and very accommodating! Very committed to making our stay what we needed. Building is clean and refreshed with redecorate. But, it’s an older property. Pool area needs a refresh!

We really enjoyed our stay at MainStay Suites. The room was very spacious we had a lot of room. The breakfast was very good. My husband used the fitness room. We were happy with everything.

The staff was rude and unhelpful! The TV didn't work. They canceled a room without our consent or reason. I found clothing that didn't belong to our family in the room. The pool area was unbearable to breathe in. I will NEVER stay here again.
