Spacious room

Loved the spacious rooms and the kitchenette. Rooms were quite and clean. We were close to the mall and main road so finding places to eat was easy. The happy hour in the evenings was great! They had free alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with snacks. The husband had a couple beers right after a long drive which was a plus. We would definately stay here again and recommend this hotel to f&f!

our bathroom smelled like mold...

Pros: great location. good breakfast, nice pool
When we arrived we were pleased with check in and front desk staff. our only problem is with the room cleaning service, they were asked to clean our room each day. all they did was make our bed and the 3rd day they barely bothered to throw it together...they put towels on our kitchen table and didnt bother to hang them, replace the shampoo or even take the dirty towels in a corner on the floor. It was not a good experience. the hotel is in a nice location and has nice ammenities. I realize its hard to find good help to work these days but hope they can retrain or find new room cleaning service

First let me take the time and thank you for staying with us. The experiences you had is not something we want guests to experience. I have spoken to my housekeeping staff to show them that it does matter if a guest wants service daily. It really can make or break someones stay, especially if they are asking for it. Because of your feedback we will grow as a team and make it better for the future.

Pros: Love the location and the kitchenette-so handy! Nice and clean-very comfortable lay out of room. Highly recommend this hotel.
Cons: Only one fork in the kitchenette=people probably steal them :(

Location: Great
Remodeled but not as clean as it should be. Grout in bathroom dirty. Dishes in the dishwasher. The pool was Far away and not even belonging to that hotel!

Weekend getaway

Location: This location is practical because of its proximity to shopping and restaurants.
The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was great. The facilities in general (other than the room we were in) are in need of some sprucing up. The carpet in the main foyer by the elevator needs to be replaced. The hotel has a single elevator which is extremely slow and to compound the problem, cleaning staff also use it making it easier to use the stairs. The check in staff on Saturday afternoon October 22nd was not professionally dressed but we had no complaints about the staff on Monday October 24th.

Good location

Pros: Friendly close to shopping
Cons: Hire someone who knows how to clean and puts the effort in .
The overall facility was clean but all parts of the hotel lobby hallways and especially our room looked like it had not been properly vacuumed in a long time . This did affect our overall opinion. Also the clerk on our arrival really promoted a happy hour feature which we looked forward to...... On the day of the happy hour we were offered a beverage and 2 small spring rolls . I had no argument with one drink but there was no one in the hotel so the springrolls could have been self serve allowing guests the option of a second serving . It appeared the only people taking part in this were staff.

Not vacuumed, room not cleaned, gap in door

The corner by the TV and climate control unit was covered with small styrofoam balls. There was also a bobby pin on the floor. Obviously not vacuumed. The door fit so poorly, you could easily see in and out of the room through the gap. No one told us a check in that we had to request towels/room cleaning. We called the desk on evening #2 and requested towels. After dinner, we found no towels and had to go to the front desk to get some. Not going back.

On behalf of the entire hotel staff we apologize for the issues you experienced during your stay. Our hotel has just finished an outside remodel and we are in the process of deep cleaning all of the rooms thoroughly to suck up any of the leftover remnants of dust and styrofoam. We are working on training the importance of communicating to guests and each other regarding housekeeping requests and policies. Realizing these types of issues before you check out we could have possibly made them right during your stay, however thank you for letting us know how we can improve for future guests.

Fargo, ND.

Hotel was in the midst of a facelift but workers didn't start to early in the morning. We didn't spend a lot if time at the hotel but our interactions with staff was good. We would definitely stay there again. The hotel is located so that there was easy access to interstate and main thoroughfares making getting around easy.
