Refused to sleep there

We checked in on January 1st and the hotel pictures did not match the actual hotel. The hotel is old, dingy and has a horrible smell. There wasn’t a soul in the hotel. We checked the pool and it was filthy! We refused to stay at the hotel. We checked out immediately!!

Hotel was easy to get to from the Interstate. The accomodations were good; though not anything exceptional. From the website I thought the TV would have some p re helium channels, but it only had a fairly basic cable package by most people's standards.

The phone did not work correctly. Not enough coffee and water cups. Only had I coffee pkg. to use. The room was comfortable as well as the bed.

Room was nice but toilet a little outdated on the amount of water it wasted for s flush, otherwise everything else was great. :)

Pros: quiet
Cons: Get room situations straight.
Location: good location.
when we checked in. THe staff gave us a room. We went to that room and someone was already there. Went back to get a different room. Took 1 hr. for them to find one. Last room they had. Not very clean motel and hallways were dirty. Need to get a cleaning crew wh0 knows how to clean. Pool had items in bottom of pool.

A Ramada should be nicer

Expedia promised me a suite with two bedrooms and two king beds. We were told that is a common Expedia mistake and all they had was a one bedroom suite with a pull out couch. The pull out couch sat at an angle so my feet were above my head but at least the support rail kept my back bent in half. The whole hotel is cheap. Looks stuck in the 90s. The furniture is cheap and uncomfortable.

Check in

It took us three tries to get checked in. We started at 3:30pm, tried again at about 4:30 and then again at 5:30. We were told about 40 rooms had checked out late. We were there to attend a wedding, so we tried in between the ceremony, social hour and reception. Finally one of the front desk people called room keeping to see if there were any rooms and found out they had not been updating the availability on the computer. The next morning at 10am we had a knock on the door and it was housekeeping. Check out is at 11am so not quite sure why she was knocking on our door at that time.
