Bang for your buck!

Internet did not work. Hot tub was broken. Dirt on bathroom floor. Room smelled.

Went to a nicer hotel on day 2!

Room smelled nasty. Hot tub was down, pool looked disgusting. Would not recommend.

Hotel in need of some updates

Cons: Disclose on the website if anything is under repair, particularly the pool and hot tub area.
Location: Location is very close to interstate and mall
As a parent traveling with kids, one of the main considerations when deciding on a hotel is the pool and hot tub. We decided on this hotel because of the price and because it looked like it had a decent pool and hot tub according to the hotel's pictures. When we arrived we learned that the hot tub was closed due to repairs. This is something that should have been disclosed on their website because if we had known this, we would have chosen a different hotel. My kids were obviously very disappointed. It is apparent that the hotel is very old which you can tell from the outside exterior, the parking lot is in need of repairs (pot holes, faded paint, and garbage in side parking lot), and the door from one of the side entrances was broken. The entrance with the broken door was also extremely dirty as were the stairs leading up to the second floor. The room itself smelled musty and the coffee pot and microwave were dirty. Very disappointing.

We had unfortunately ran into issues beyond our control. I understand that as our guest it doesn't change the fact that you were unable to utilize our hot tub but I can assure you we have been equally disappointed. I do hope we can have the opportunity to serve you again the next time you are in Fargo to provide you with the stay you expected and deserve.

You get what you pay for

Bed was very hard. Got a "complimentary upgrade" - to a suite with a sliding door and window facing the indoor hallway by the conference center. Both the door and window were wide open to the hall & didn't latch. No screen/bars on the window. I had to tighten the screws of the (unfastened) stop-bar on the patio door by hand. Light shone in from the hall all night long.

Liz, It sounds like your stay was less than desirable and I do sincerely apologize for that. I will personally take my maintenance team down to the room you stayed in to see what items need addressing with the door and window. I hope we can have another opportunity to serve you again in the future.

Item left in room after check out where did it go?

When I got home the next day I realized I left an item in the hotel room. I called the hotel and asked if housekeeping had the item and was informed that they did not. I called again the next day to have them double check and again told they had nothing. Needless to say I was disappointed that they did not have the item I left behind. Also was being over charged for the rooms I rented and contacted the billing department to credit my credit card back the difference which they did.

When it comes to hotels, this one was a gem. Very clean room. Hotel lobby and staff greeted you. Restaurant in the hotel was awesome. The bar very relaxing. After a long day of traveling the whirlpool in the room was awesome. I would make it a point to go back, if I traveled through the area again.

Great customer service!

When we arrived the room type we booked was not available, so without having to ask the front desk agent immediately upgraded us to a suite. Awesome! When we got into the room it was warm & we turned the A/C down but it never cooled the room. That evening we called the front desk about it and a gentleman came & said he couldn't get it to work & that he'd put a work order in for the morning. We had to sleep with the window open overnight to get some cool air. The next day we left & returned in the afternoon & a/c still had not been fixed. We left around 5p & stopped by the front desk & were told they would get right on it. When we returned around 10p the ac had been repaired! The hotel is older, but the customer service is phenomenal! We were very pleased with how quickly isssues were resolved. I would probably stay there again if I were ever to travel to Fargo again.
