Not my favorite!

The area/location was less than desirable. We noticed at least five cop cars in 2 different parkingl lots with cars/people pulled over. The lobby and hotel room were very dated. Room was clean, the air worked great. Bathroom was large, shower good. There was nothing to write home about or even really memorable, other than the location.

Pros: Proximity to river walk/park
Cons: Area is showing signs of downward trend.
Location: Again, area is becoming increasingly run down.
This motel is close to a lovely river walk area.

Friendly Staff

Cons: More variety of food in the breakfast buffet.
The staff were super helpful and friendly. The rooms were super clean and nice. The hotel is clearly an older building, but it still felt very clean and comfortable.

The staff was very nice, even called the room to check on us. The room was clean, you just can not fix old. The tub had dark black caulking around the faucet's decorative piece. It needed to be replaced, we didn't even use the tub! But regardless the place needs a major overhaul. You cannot get pool towels without going to the front desk The area isn't the greatest, but not the worst. Lastly we were basically "punished" for paying through a third party. We had to allow a deposit for the room, no big deal, until I was told "if you had booked through is it would have only been the charge for the night's stay." If your in and out not a awful place just old.

Welcome place to rest

After a very long drive our family arrived late at night to a kindly staff, immaculate and fresh room overlooking a beautiful pool. Checkout was at noon so we could relax, have a lovely breakfast (provided by the hotel) take a swim and leave refreshed. The housekeeping staff was terrific.

Hotel was close to San Juan College

Pros: It was right next door to a good pizza place
The only problem I had there were ants in the bathroom area.

The room was old and needed to be up-dated. There were several bugs and spiders in the room as well. The beds were very itchy and unclean.
