Awful, dirty, smells like smok e

Disgusting hotel. Smells like smoke. Everything is dirty. I doubt the the comforter has been cleaned in years. Thankful we had blankets and pillows in the car.

I apologize that you ran into issues during your stay. We are the only hotel in the area that still offer smoking rooms and we have designated areas outside for smoking. A guest service rep would be happy to clean any linen for a guest or replace with fresh linen.

Dirty hotel in need of updates

I am normally not one to complain about a hotel, but this Days Inn was just horrible. The staff was friendly, the beds were comfortable and the shower was pretty decent. Other than that, it was very disappointing. When we arrived late on Thursday night with a reservation from Expedia, we were told that the only room fitting our reservation (2 double non smoking) didn't have a key card reader that worked. So the front desk man let us in to the room with a key. It was late, so we didn't need to leave again that night, but we were told if we wanted to have a key, we would have to pack up our belongs and switch rooms the next day. So we did that with the intention of staying. The room seemed so dirty - the dresser drawers had dirt in them, the paint was peeling and the front door was extremely dirty. I plugged my phone into an outlet to charge overnight only to wake up to find it dead - the outlet didn't work. Rather than switch rooms the 2nd day, we changed our plans and returned home a night early.

I apologize that you ran into issues during your stay and these pictures do show poor cleaning from our housekeeping department. I will share this with our staff as this is unacceptable for our guest and our business. I will be more diligent with room inspections.

Never going back there!

Check in was slow despite being the only person there to check in. We were given a room key to a room where someone was already staying. Walked in to find someone else's stuff all over the bed. Fortunately they were not there at the moment. That could have been very dangerous! There was only 1 working ice machine. There were only 2 towels for 4 guests in the room. Despite the floor being non-smoking, the room wreaked from smell of smoke!! Three rooms nearby had dogs and they barked anytime someone walked by their room. The place was old and dingy. Had it not been so late when we checked in, I would have walked out and found somewhere else to stay!

I apologize that the clerk checked you into a room improperly. We were having issues with our system/internet running slower than normal. Our 2nd ice machine is getting replaced. Also, additional linen we provide on request per additional guest. As for the smoking odor, we have signs and designated our 2nd floor as all no smoking. We do fine a fee for ignoring this policy. We are represented as a pet friendly hotel if this was an issue, please reach out to our guest ser rep to be place away from a pet/smoking room so that we may properly accommodate you.

Very nice for the night

The only problem I had with the room was that it smelled like smoke. Other than that it serve its purpose.

I apologize if the room still had any smoke order. We do designate our rooms with non-smoking signs. We do our very best to address odor with our cleaning products. But thank you for letting us know so we can address this issue.

HORRIBLE RUN DOWN DIRTY

Pros: HORRIBLE AVOID AT ALL COST
Cons: EVERYTHING!
Run down and nasty said something to staff and was told they would have someone clean it never saw anyone until the next morning. Half the lights didn't work and the whole place smelled terrible!!!

I apologize that you ran into issues during your stay. I am not sure as to why our front desk clerk simply didn't move you to another room more satisfactory for your stay. However, it sound as if a breaker had trip and simply needed to be turned back on. As for the room odor, we would have to address that more directly.

I would not stay there again, not clean, everything worn, no ability to reach staff by phone several times. I would not recommend this property.

The bathroom was dirty. The toilet was not fulllu attached to the floor. The refrigerator did not close properly and was very noisy. The bed was very uncomfortable the pillows we 12”square They could not change the room as none were available. They would offer no credit We left after the first night and could not check out as we were prepaid for additional time. We gave them the keys and left to stay somewhere else.

Hotel was very much neglected. The rooms were very dated and worn looking with furniture, carpeting, and bathroom. The mattress was old and uncomfortable. The bathroom was falling apart, the sink not fully attached undercounter and facings hanging. Smelled of urine. Found hair in shower, and pink mildew. One of the grossest hotels I have ever stayed in. Should be torn down and rebuilt.

Dirty, needs to be bulldozed

3 police cars in parking lot upon arrival, check in was fine, door on hinges crooked so big crack at top of door, old and dirty, no plug ins, moved nightstand to find plug in and found goldfish crackers and toe nail clippings, dust an inch thick behind fridge, no iron, sloping floor in bathroom, old spring mattress, noisy, walls so thin you could hear people snoring next door and sneezing, woman sitting in parking lot in a van, creepy

Sorry that you came upon such conditions, however the police being at the property was not related to anything regarding hotel or its' security.
