Dirty, no power, no help.

Posted Oct 10, 2016
They did not have my reservation ready when I arrived. Said the manager was putting the reservations in the computer. 5 min later the power went out. Said they were not ready for loss of power did not know how to take reservations manually. After 30 minutes started letting people have rooms but never announced they were starting. Asked for reservation number and credit card information but never asked for card or drivers license to confirm. We were given a room that was supposed to be two double beds. Turned out it was one King. Had to go back to front desk and switch rooms. They never brought around any form of lighting for help with dark room. Power was never restored. Room was dirty. They did give us complimentary sandwiches and drinks for dinner. Very disappointed for a Holiday Inn.

An excellent place to "Escape the storm" to

Posted Oct 10, 2016
Pros: Good location, great staff
Cons: It's an older facility so there are some cosmetic updates that are needed.
Location: It is basically a convention facility so a great place to hold a wedding reception or a reunion.
We "escaped" Hurricane Matthew to this location. Bad move on our part but to a great venue. It is an older convention center HI so there were lots of places to go hang out away from our room. The staff were very accommodating during very trying conditions. They were stuck there just like we were but did an outstand job of caring for us.

Nice hotel that accepts pets.

Posted Sep 8, 2016
I have stayed At this hotel a couple of time while driving south on 95. I travel with my dog and they are one of they few nice hotels that accept pets. Plus the pet rooms are just as nice as the rest of the guest rooms. I've stayed in some hotels where they will put a guest with a pet in an unrenovated room that usually smells like dog!

wont come again

The bathroom was old, the refrigerator had grease or something that made my fingers sticky when I opened it. I cleaned it myself with several tissues. The staff was informative and friendly but I would not stay here again. Couldn't wait to leave.

Worn Out and Musty Room

Posted Jul 17, 2016 on Hotels
After trying to let the front desk staff (evening) via phone we were going to arrive late, it took us 5 calls to relay this, as they kept dumping the call and sending us to the reservations system! Our room has a very musty smell to it, and though I asked for a room with two queen beds, I received one with two doubles. I travel a lot on business, and this is about the most run down Holiday Inn I have come across.
